Baral is faster on the draw this go around, as it is he that makes his presence known in unraveling Koplony's magical defenses. A moment later, he closes in for the proverbial kill. But then in but a look from Koplony alone, the moment rewrites itself, potentially sparing the blue wizard the blade.
Eldin slips forward in the wake of the chaos caused by Bara opening act, flinging a dagger before Koplony has even fully finished recovering from the initial chaos. With no more defenses to shield him, the dagger lands true in the wizard's side.

Koplony will look askance at Eldin, tilting his head a little and trying to imagine time itself solidifying around Eldin.
Eldin needs to make a CON save DC 17 or become incapacitated and have a speed of 0 until the end of Koplony's next turn. (Hopefully this Momentary Stasis will slow you down.)

((If you're firing 3 rays at Eldin you need to roll once for each ray. You got the first crit that did a total of 4d6 damage. Now 2nd and 3rd ray also need to be rolled and each will do 2d6 on hit. ))

But while two manages to breech the tiefling's defenses, one even with exceptional accuracy, Eldin is able to shrug much of it off with his infernal heritage. Be that as it may, Dorkas lets out a rallying cry to keep his partners spirits up at least.
