Kaneís chuckles softly at the pun. Maybe she should give Donos more credit. "Dead, for sure. But is it really an end?" she asks, noting the response to Donos's prodding. Remembering the skeletal hand that burst from the wall previously, she will return to the cavern, snap off a piece of dead harpy, and throw it at the wall from a good ten feet away. Maybe that would garner a more interesting result. If not, she will return, heading back into the cavern, and similarly mark the passage they had exited with in more blood. Two to go.
"My disappointment is immense and my day is ruined."He says as he comes back with Donos."Nothing of interest down there, friends. Sadly. Where shall we go now? Point and I will go snooping."
"I admit I'm all turned around down here," Arteusa says, making a face. "Which is probably rather the point, of course." Less a chance of anyone getting out that way, and mazes were, she thought, difficult by design.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Rhaecus walks off, though his pace changes a little. "Let us pace ourselves, shall we? This is no race and becoming anxious will do us no favors. This will not be a short journey, so prepare your mind accordingly... Well then, to do as a scout does."
Rhaecus journeys down the tunnel, which opens up into a small, square room after a while. The air is filled with oppressive heat, most likely caused by the river of fire that cuts through the room. The bones around the edge of the canal of flame are charred and blackened. Across the river, which is a good ten feet wide, are two of what appear to be doors, though like the rest of the place they are entirely fabricated out of bone. There are also exits in the forms of the holes where the river enters and exits the room, though one's sanity would certainly be up for debate if they attempted to enter one of them.

"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
Donos catches up with Rhaecus and looks at the river of fire cutting through the room.
He checks the ground before the river and looks across at the side directly across, looking on this side for any broken ground or outcroppings that could trip someone up.
"We could jump it," Donos says. "It's not far."
He looks back the way they came.
"Or we could go back down the last tunnel to see what's there first."
Kaneís wrinkles her face. She'd had enough rivers of molten lava for the day, and she despised hot temperatures. Burning to death was her greatest fear, but of course, she wouldn't admit that in front of everyone else. "That river looks a good ten feet across. I'm not sure if it is wise to test our luck crossing it, but alas," she says, "I'm sure the other way has plenty of dangers too."
"I could probably leap that, too," Arteusa adds, looking towards the river. "Might be able to carry you, Kaneis, if you hold tight," she muses, considering the logistics.
Donos approaches the doors looking to see if there is anything to distinguish one from the other, other than the obvious that one is on the left and one is on the right.
Kaneís picks herself up and siphons off the dirt from her clothes with some more magic. "I don't really care," she says, gesturing to whichever door seems more popular. "We can always investigate different ways another time."

"Aye," Donos begins. "Meandering through a maze of passage ways does not lend itself to heroic story telling."
He pauses and looks down the tunnels that are their two options.
"I have no idea what direction we've come from or will go, but if I call where we came from south, the dead end north, then let us try west."
Donos then waves his trident, pointing the way for Rhaecus.
"I admit I'm all turned around down here," Arteusa says, making a face. "Which is probably rather the point, of course." Less a chance of anyone getting out that way, and mazes were, she thought, difficult by design.

"Only 10 feet?" Zaela says, "Rhaecus, you and I should cross over first. Satyrs are experts at jumping."

Donos eyes Kaneis and looks at her legs.
"You are strong. You would make it across," he says to her.
But he then looks at Zaela's thin legs and wonders if she would have difficulty.
Zaela will go first, getting an amount of feet equal to 8 + 4.
That is cutting it close. Thank the dice gods.

Donos watches Zaela jump the river, just clearing it. He cheers when she does.
He backs up 10’ from the edge, then takes a breath and races forward, plants his foot a couple of feet from the edge and leaps over.
Zaela manages to clear the river, just barely, but makes it. Anyone else who wishes to clear the gap can.
"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
Arteusa backs up to get a running start and leaps across.

Kaneís, while simultaneously annoyed by and thankful for Arteusa’s offer, backs up and jumps, barely clearing the edge of the river.
Everyone makes it across with little trouble.

"Does anyone have a favored hand?" Donos asks.
"It is said the left hand is closer to the heart." Rhaecus says, licking his lips as he dries his palms on his own fur.
