This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

"Please I must join you on your journey. I will tell you more as we go, but this is of paramount importance. Let me sit down for a moment and prepare myself. Who will join me on the quest? I am an excellent fisherman, I can swim well. Let's begin."
I grew up in a village on the outskirts of Lonelywood, an outsider and I never knew my parents. My adoptive mother and father were dwarves that worked with wood and helped in the lumber industry. I was obviously an outsider, born of dragon kin, a 50-50 mix. I favor the dragon side of my heritage, I learned that I could blast trees down with my lightening breath. Our village was saved by a traveling warrior, we were attacked by bandits from the north. My mother and father were killed in the raid. This warrior taught me how to use a Warhammer effectively, with deadly aim. I want to learn his way of battle, how to harness energy to strike more effectively, the way of controlling a battle with your heart and mind. My master later died of his wounds that he received in this battle. He taught me well though. I wish to seek my fortune and avenge his death, seek out the tribe of bandits and their leader and avenge the death of my master and my parents.
Want to toss my cap - if I had one as an impoverished monk - in the ring. Hopefully not too late to the (fishing) game.
Name: Marlow
Race: Human
Class: Monk
Fateful Moment: #4
Backstory:
Slight build (5’ 10” & 160 lbs.) but all hard sinew won at the rowing bench. Nut brown with deep crow’s feet. Close-cropped salt & pepper hair & beard. Flogged many a time & missing two fingers on his left hand. The eyes give away the life he has lived: Only way to describe them as a storm captured in glass. Bluest-blue one moment but greyest-grey at the next with flashes of bottle green.
By all appearances, a sailor once & now traveling / living as an itinerant traveller & (poor) trader of salt & dried fish while working his quest. Sold from his village on the coast at the age of 14 & then spent 10 years before the mast as able-bodied sailor & cook. The ship ran all sorts of commodities - indigo, salt, rum.
Ship was taken & he was put to the oar for 7 long years until the ship was lost in a typhoon & he washed up emaciated on a foreign coast where he was taken in at a lonely monastery. By dint of his background in the galley he was given shelter & taught their ways in return for his labor. The years pass. Monks go out into the world, setting up new monasteries & trading. One such new abbot (Kurtz), though, steps off the path. Corrupted by power - and now more of a warlock (tbd) - he brings dishonor and must be stopped. Marlow is given this task.

Sounds like a fine team to me.
Sure 1 deep gnome, 2 dwarves and a goliath. Sounds good to me.
And that's all four. I'll send the DM a PM as they asked.
Kravek will need to sit at the back of the boat.
I contacted everyone who left a character here or mailed me. If i missed you or if you decide to give it a try, just send me a pm or post here.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
