The evening goes by fairly quickly, with the crowd in the bar growing as the evening grows. By the time the last of the party calls it a night, there are probably 40-50 soldiers in the bar. The soldiers appear to be evenly split between Kardagen and Sanbeyonne, but, the interaction between them is very friendly. The rooms the party has are separated from the tavern by about 30 feet, with a short hallway connecting the two buildings. No sound of the boisterous soldiers can be heard in the rooms.
When morning comes, the bar is devoid of patrons. The room is spotless and one would have a hard time telling that a large crowd had been present in the building the night before. A woman is behind the bar this morning, with Mercer nowhere in sight.
Quin rises before the rest and heads to the common room. He's impressed by what he sees after hearing about the crowd the night before. Approaching the woman behind the bar he says, "Good morning mam. I was wondering if you knew of someone I could purchase a crossbow from. I'd also like a cup of coffee if I may."
Quiller Will come downstairs and go up to the bar and ask for a cuppa coffee. “What a good idea make it black and strong please.“ He will give a big sigh after the first gulp. “Aaaaah! That hits the spot so how about breakfast ham, eggs, toast, oat cakes, juice, and cheese. That would fill a hole in my stomach and get me ready for the road. “Crossbow, good idea.”

Lukas emerges from the room, dressed, kitted out (weapons still with the box that was present at the entrance, so his armor is on and shield on his back.), and somewhat better in mood. he inquires as to what is filling and cheap to eat, he'll have that, and then ask where to co9llect his weapons when he leaves.
Upon getting out of bed (perhaps a little bit later after some of the others) and putting on his gear, Lorgar will seek out Balthazar. "So, where and when are we to meet up with this contact of yours?"
"Some inn in Springholde, starting on Vexday. We could probably make it there sooner, but so long as we end up there eventually, things should start working out a lot better for us."
The woman behind the bar greets Quin and says “I think we have one or two crossbows available. I’ll have Bren check what we have available to sell.” She walks into the back and returns shortly with coffee for the rogue.
The young woman will take orders for breakfast for everyone interested, and provide the food. By the time everyone is finished eating, she returns and says “We do have a couple crossbows available for sale. They are 25 gp each, with 20 bolts costing 1 gp.”
Turning to Lukas, she says “Your equipment is available at the front where you left it. Bren is up there now."
Quiller groans as he lays down his fork, he does after all appreciate manners, Sets the price of breakfast on the table (??) and head to the weapons check cupboard to retrieve his weapons. "Never leave a place that has food available with an empty stomach. Okay, let's be on our way."

"Yeah lets get going. The faster we're in Spring holds the better I'll feel. Wish we had some horses. At the very least we should see if we can still take the grain to Springholde. They probably still need it, and since we've already found the planted items it could provide a cover. We're just returning a wagon and bringing supplies. No reason to raise suspicion." says Quin as the three wait for Lorgar and Balthazar to join them outside.
"Like a bound and kidnapped lordlet, or something, hiddin' in the grain kinda thing ye mean," Quiller grins a bit as he jokes. "Course, we could as well be suttlers taking food stuffs to Springholt, less there be word out 'bout a stolen wagon, eh? Let's be off then."

"True we did discuss it but seeing how we're on foot from here on out I thought we might revisit it. If they truly need the grain in Springholde we could always use another wagon or stick with the stolen one and use the returning stolen goods story since its no longer a lie. But no bother. Now that we're all assembled lets be on our way shall we. Err..that is if Balthazar is ready. Have you seen him?"
Having shaved and refreshed himself, Balthazar comes down from their shared room and greets Mercer before joining the rest of the party. "Sorry, were you all waiting for me? I'm ready to go!"
"Excellent! In the intrest of time I retract my suggestion about the wagon. Don't worry Lukas we'll find another way to help my friend. Now a journey begun is one half done, as they say. So shall we..." replies Quin as he starts off with the exuberance of youth.

"Thanks! I'll pick it up with the rest of our gear."

"check the grain for any other surprises. the last thing we need is the guards indicting us on something we knew nothing about.

"Did we not agree last night to leave the cart behind, having found out it was stolen?", asks Lorgar surprised.
"you guys did. i'm all for making sure the grain goes to people who need it."
