Shayne watches everything...  The wolves, the party, the frozen tundra.  He is making mental notes of the words used, the expressions, the exact blue tint upon the frozen wasteland. But despite his desire to record everything to later put it to song or story, he's also very much interest in self preservation. As such, his hand continues to stay upon the hilt of his rapier.

“Rock no believe white wolves.”  Rock says, having already caught them in a lie before now.  He stomps around, wanting to get a full look at this place, checking the full area around the building.

"You know, I could use a spell to put things to sleep inside zat building, it might help keep ze children calm." Avarice says whilst trying to peer into the darkness of the doorways.

"I agree with you Rock, this seems like an obvious trap. How convenient for the giant to be out and about right when we come by. Can any of you see into that building?" 

((are the two big wolves waiting outside the building or did they go in?))

Ines can't help but feel pity for the wolves, but follows the others. When they reach the building she nods in agreement with the others. "Maybe only some of us should go inside."

Rock - are you walking around the lodge?  What are you looking for?  Which direction do you start to head in, north or south?

Rock is walking around it. He will go north first, but be planning on making a complete circle.  He is looking for anything at all, maybe a frost giant hiding on the far side or something.  No way to know what he is looking for until he sees it, so anything of interest or different.

It'll take a few minutes for Rock to circle around the whole building. What are the rest of you doing in the meantime?  Is anybody going with him?

Elderan grabs Rock just before he leaves on his trip around the building, and tells him in hushed tones "Rock, the wolves are definitely lying again, the giant is inside, I do not know what game they are playing but they look nervous to enter. Scout around the building if you will but be careful."

Elderan will relay the above info to the others off to the side away from the wolves. 

"I will stay out here, keep watch. I don't think I would be much help if a fight breaks out"

     Shayne is sticking by the big guy.  He's hitched this far along looking to tell the epic tale of Rock and his success, or blunder, so he needs to see how it all plays out.

"What game are you playing at Koran? If you play us false the first arrow find you? So tell me now what we will find inside and why you led us here?"

Hearing that the wolves are planning some kind of ambush, Avarice stands on alert.

Koran smirks, as much as it is possible for a wolf to do so.  "Little one, if we intended to kill you, you would already be dead.  Your people are inside.  Go."

Rock, after about ten minutes circling the giant's lair, you reach the south end.  Just as you begin to spot your friends in the distance back at the east side of the building, you notice a large round hole, easily big enough for you to fit inside, that seems to have been burrowed out by a huge creature of some kind.

“Hey air-sick lowlanders, come over here!” Rock calls out, waving one of his big hands to get the other’s attention.  “Rock found different path inside.  Maybe not as likely to get us in trap if one is inside.”  He waits by this new opening for the others to come to him.

Avarice makes her way over, keeping an eye on the hungry wolves.

"Maybe some of us should go in the front since the wolves already know that we are here and some in the back to try to rescue the children."

Elderan is thinking he will probably just freeze to death before the frost giant kills him either way.  

Ines joins Rock, watching the wolves nervously. "I don't like this."
