The shield snaps up, powered by the dragonborn's muscle, and partially crushes the face of the zombie, it's gurgling moan sounds even more strangled now, as half of it's jaw is mushed in. The newcomer's grasp misses the creature, as it has no metal armor on it. In the rush to join the fray, the newcomer missed the zombie that was trailing the other creatures, now finding himself sandwiched between two of the undead, the clublike swing of the one behind him slams into his back, bruising him.
The zombie facing Biri is wrapped up in spectral vines, which seem to snake out of the walls and floor, trying it up.
End of Round 2: Balm - 16 (Attacked, just missed) Trian - 16 (Assuming out of the game now, I've modified the encounter to not penalize the party) Whitley - 16 (Cast Bless) Monster A - 16 (Attacked Balm twice, hitting once): HP: -9 Hilliard - 13 (Action in round 2 still to come) Biri - 7 (Action in round 2 still to come) Zombie A - 4 (wrapped up in the spectral vines): HP: -7 Zombie B - 4 Attacking Hilliard
The monster facing Balm presses its attack, trying to down an opponent and get to the divine caster behind her, hungry to destroy the cleric. It swipes with it's longsword, and then makes a grasping attack at the warlock.
The attacks hit, and the temp hp is gone. Also realized I forgot to have the zombie thing roll a DC 13 wis save vs being frightened when I hit it that first time. I'll try to remember in the future!
DC 13 Con check vs max hp reduction: 6
Balm laughs, a little maniacally, as the sword pierces her shadowy armor, and the grasping hand does real damage to her form. She tries again to shocking grasp the thing:
Melee Spell Attack: 18 Damage: 1
Once again if it hits, she will fall back to pew pew range, relying on the shock to protect her from its reaction. If not, she'll grit her teeth and stay there.
The lightning courses over the creature, inconveniencing it more than damaging it. The best result is that it's actions are somewhat delayed, and it can't swipe at Balm as she moves back the 10 feet to stand in front of the doorway. This puts Whitley right at her back, and Biri on the other side, facing the zombie that's currently entangled by the spectral vines.
Whitley's divine fire again courses over the creature's shoulder, crisping the timbers of the ceiling, and failing to damage it.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Round 4 Starts:
Balm - 16 Whitley - 16 Monster A - 16 HP: -10 Hilliard - 13 Biri - 7 Zombie A - 4 HP: -7 Zombie B - 4
****************************************************************************** The monster glides in to range of Balm, swinging it's sword and grasping with the draining energy surrounding it's boney hand, trying to drag her soul down in to the depths of it's reach.
Her opponent trapped, for the moment, Brickhouse wheels round, half to position herself in the combat and half to make sure the blanket covers the rest of her. Securing the cloth around her in one hand, she lifts the shield with the other, and throws herself into the air again, hoping to slam Balm's attacker to the ground, once again sending a small tremor through the floor and surrounding walls.
I forgot to add the bonus from Bless before; 2 + Attack: 22 Damage: 6
(People around us will probably be alerted now right? How big is this ship?)

Seeing that the holy fire doesn’t seem to be doing the trick, Whitley decides to stop holding back and sends a bolt of radiant light on the monster attacking Balm. (Would not technically get disadvantage from prone as Whitley would act before Biri in the initiative order)
Action: Cast Guiding Bolt
Ranged spell attack: 14
Damage (if hit): 16
Target: Monster A (if hit, next attack against it has advantage)

I actually think I just missed it was a new round and Balm's no longer out of melee range? Assuming so, she'll once again cast shocking grasp:
Melee Spell Attack: 8 Damage: 1 (second attack roll in case there's advantage: 24)
On a hit, 6 necrotic damage, and a DC 13 WIS save or it's frightened of her
If it hits and there's no reaction, she'll back up into the room further, even up on top of the bunk bed, really trying to stay out of melee so she can eldritch blast or chill touch...
My error. I did remove the proficiency bonus though. Should you not mind revising; Attack: 5 Damage: 4
Much better. And that means the spell should take hold.
That's just the zombie left for this round right?

Cast sacred flame

OOC: Are we waiting for me to take more actions? I'm sorry, I've lost the thread. :P
I believe we're on 'Monster A'.
OOC: Shoot...that's my bad, thanks Bunni!

Since that was a slam, there's no damage (my bad), but the critter is knocked Prone.

We're on Monster A now or no?
I think so? Don't want to lose this thread...
Monster A went. Then Hilliard. Then Biri (which I assume is the same as Brickhouse?).
Then Whitley skipped over zombies A and B and Balm for some reason. Then Balm posted.
Hold thine horses and wait your turn folks, unless otherwise specified by the DM
