Herne enters the stables and makes his way to the area that Alaric is using for his Workroom. He finds the young nobleman hard at work "I wanted to thank you for the balm" Herne says "between your magic ointment and the rest I can get rid of this damned stick ." tapping his crutch. "then I hope we can be on our way" Alaric can sense that the old Ranger wants to say more but is hesitant.
"Look, I know we still need to get to Dougan's hole for your family. Let me tell you Herne I never thought I'd see what I saw out here in my life." Alaric steps away from the table.
"I may have seen familial disputes all the way to actual coups, but what I've seen here tops it. Blizzards, wolves that breathe ice, and mammoths that can apparently talk. On top of that, 2 of our compatriots have either died or ran away and I've even danced with death myself." Alaric reaches into his pocket and pulls out more salve (cure wounds) and hands it to him.
"We need these weapons and we don't need you to have a limp on the journey there. Give me a few more days. That should be enough time for your leg to heal and for me to forge". He walks back to the table and continues his work.
Belthran will also go to town to help gather supplies for Finn's family and anything the group needs. He, however, will not be making a side trip to the shrine of Selune.
Sandow will stay behind, working out his new spell abilities and getting familiar with his 'familiar.' He'll continue to work on making some arrows as well.
Some time round noon the two wagons and two outriders enter Dougan's Hole. the plan is to spend two hours in town so that all can attend to their business and then meet here at the supply store and head back. there are four members of Finn's extended family attending to shopping lists and watching the wagons. the res of you are free to go about your business.
The Chapel of Selune is nearby and can be seen from the wagon. a small house with a large moon and stars symbol carved in the door.
Galvan, Vrajitor is told by one of the cousins, lives on the opposite edge of town. Galvan has a small shop that also deals in trapping and hunting gear.
Vrajitor will go visit Galvan, telling him Herne said to look him up. "I have this," he shows Galvan his unfinished bow stave, "and I am told you are just the person to turn it into masterwork weapon suitable for me, capable of dealing serious damage to the monsters the hunt in the area." He will further relate the travails of the party as emphasis to his needing something to confront things like raging mammoths with, not forgetting winter wolves and the possible ice giant or two..
With no particular purpose in town, Belthran will first wander down to the docks and inspect the fishing vessels moored there.
Realising he still has plenty of time to kill, curiosity draws him up the hill to visit the collection of standing stones, and to take in the vista afforded by this vantage place.
Galvan greets the Ranger and examines the wood he brought. "I see. This wood is an excellent piece" he stands and measure the ranger. He also provides a bow and asks vrajitor to show his stance. after a bit Galvan says "400 gold pieces and i'll need you here several times during the carving which shouldn't take more than two weeks if I put all my other work on hold."

“Hmm, I do not have the gold,” Vrajitor says with a grimace, “but if you make it you will be paid. I will give partial amounts as I get it over the next few weeks. There is a possibility the giant’s abode would yield that much as my share, if I don’t die In trying to cleanse it. But I must tell you that that is not certain. But I give you my word that you will receive full payment as soon as I can get it to you.” He shrugs ruefully. “If that is not agreeable I will come back when I have the gold.”

Please make a persuasion roll 13+ for Vrajitor, with advantage because Herne is a friend.
