(It can stop burns, arrow wounds, dragon wounds, etc, so a broken arm should be fine. Mal's at 37 or so HP out of 52; he's fine)
Managing to pick himself up and follow the group, he asks: "Hey Basina, you can heal, right? Can you get this?" He holds his arm up, supporting the broken part.
After trying to get the arm moving again, Mal sighs. “Well, hopefully nothing else tries to kill us in the next day or two, because I can’t shoot like this.”
"Quit moving it around, it needs to set and heal. You're just making it worse." Thoradin's voice was exasperated. "You might think of stabbing instead of shooting, but my advice would be to stay out of fighting altogether. In fact, maybe we could stay here a few days and do some research while you recuperate, so we're not stumbling around in the dark as we have been."
“I can try to help you with that Mal but I need a rest to regain some energy before I dare try it. I don’t want to make it worse” Basina says, patting Mal comforting on the other hand.
“As no one is around we seem to have two choices if we want to get some rest. Eighteen we put some money on the counter and grab a room, hoping it won’t offend anyone. Or we find a nice fairly safe place outside and make camp”. she continues addressing everyone.

Basina Fairfoot- Halfling paladin Shadow through the forest (Shadow) - Tabaxi Ranger (beastmaster)
Just as your group was discussing, the bell gives off another three rings, then, several people come flooding out of the barkeep. Most appear to be patrons, as they take their seats immediately, the staff go to their stations and resume their duties. The quiet area soon becomes noisy with indistinct chatter. Standing by a staircase is a red haired human woman with two different colored eyes; one blue, the other green, and much more fine clothing than anyone else there "Thank gods that's over" she says under her breath, then she looks up at you "Oh, hello! Would you like a room? It's two silver a night, breakfast is included."
You see Mal'thrae crack a bit of a smile. "Yeah, rest is probably ideal." He looks to Jadyn, Thoradin, and Basina. "Thanks guys."
On the subject of where to say, he adds: "I'd much rather stay in here, they'll probably be-"
Interrupted by everyone returning, he finishes: "...done in a bit. I can cover it again for you guys." He reaches for a gold piece, handing it to the barkeep with a 'Yeah, that'd be great.'
“I think I’ll go straight to bed my friends, while the village is quiet and safe. It seems one never know when the peace will end in these lands” she says. “I will see you all for breakfast and we can discuss what to do next. I wish you all a long and peaceful sleep”

Basina Fairfoot- Halfling paladin Shadow through the forest (Shadow) - Tabaxi Ranger (beastmaster)
Everyone gets a quiet, long "night's" rest in their rooms. In the morning, when you exit your rooms, you each find a pouch with 30GP inside of it, right in front of your doors.
Gorokum opens the door to his room and steps on the pouch filled with gold coins. He bends down and picks it up, looking up and down the hallway, wondering where it came from. He opens the bag and looks inside to see if there's any indication who left it there.
While still examining it, he makes his way into the main dining room to see if any of the others are up yet. If not, he finds a table large enough for everyone and orders breakfast.
Thoradin looks at the pouch suspiciously. Speaking to no one at all he grumbled. "Oh, sure. You think that since I'm a dwarf I must be crazy about gold, right? And gems! It's all dwarves ever thing about. How will I ever resist? Hm!" Looking around to see if anyone is around who could have left it. Then, in one fluid motion, he snatched it up and stuck it in a pocket, still mumbling about racism as he went out in search of breakfast.
Jadyn collects the pouch, giving a soft smile at the note. He then walks down the stairs, meeting the party before quietly sitting and waiting to see what the plan was.
The dining area is quiet, with only whispers being heard. Upon your entry, most of the patrons stop to stare at you, most looks have jealousy in them. When you take your seats, Gorokum and Jaydn hear someone whispering this to someone, but you don't know who was saying it:
"So, have you heard about those travelers? You know, the six who supposedly 'saved the town'? Well I heard someone saying they are going to have them assassinated. Rumor has it they hold three of the key pendants too."
Mal'thrae awakens, his arm now in a wrap as he waits for it to get healed. He opens the door, finds the coin, and quietly pockets it before going downstairs.
"Morning, guys." the half drow says as he sits down at the table with the other two.
Gorokum looks around the room at the other patrons, wondering who might have whispered the rumour about some plan to take the party out.
Looking back at the others at the table he slowly shakes his head.
”It sounds like our welcome here was short. Whether a real threat or not, just the whispers about wanting us dead will make staying here difficult. I think we should check back at the tavern and see if we can find out what’s going on in this town to make them hate us. That might give us a lead to someone who might just be after these pendants. And if they want the ones we have that might mean they already have some of their own or know where to find others.”

(So are we just going to ignore his broken arm then? Can healing magic even help that sort of injury, DM?)

Jadyn will silently walk up behind Mal’thrae and puts a hand on the shoulder of the injured arm. He then casts cure wounds at 1st level.

The healing magic rids Mal of the pain in his arm, but he is still unable to move it.

Gorokum looks at the redheaded human woman and at the ease with which everyone goes back to their lives after the attack.
"Does this happen often?" he asks the woman. "These attacks. It doesn't seem to have fazed the people here."
"No, we don't get attacked very often, but Glitzy Hollow has the occasional 'Spawn Raid' every now and then."
