Velshir will try to put himself between his group and the goblins, try to take the focus of their attack. He will advance if necessary and use his javelin and then patient defense to take the dodge action as a bonus action.
Javelin (non-lethal crack upside the head) Attack: 18 Damage: 10
Prentiss moves to the space just northwest of Velshir. He knows now what his nightmares of the last couple of nights have meant; the dragon is growing...
(Bonus action to cast Dragon's Breath on himself. Then an action to exhale a 15ft cone of cold energy so that it catches the middle, northern and eastern goblins. Each target must pass a DC13 Dex save or else take 5 cold damage - half on a success)
EDIT: Going to use 1 sorcery point and Empowered Spell to reroll all 3 damage dice - new roll is 12

Sheyla initiative 8
On her turn Sheyla will take a deep breath and draw forth an icicle with her magic. Then focusing she launches it as the goblin on the left and having it explode to hit the two of them.
Action to cast ice knife at nearest of the two goblins on the left.
Attack: 17 Damage: 9, it then explodes in a 5 ft radius dealing 9 cold damage DC 13 dex save for half

Prentiss watches momentarily in admiration as Loren darts through the terrain avoiding attacks from the Goblins in an attempt to warn the group, then moves forward and to the left of Velshir with unusual utterings and magical gestures holding a crystal into the air, at the conclusion of this, an icy blast bursts forth in a cone directed at Goblins 1, 2 and 5. The Goblins watching his motion suspiciously then in horror as they realize what is happening, they each attempt to jump out of the way of the blast. (Saves G116 , G29 , G56 ) Goblin 1 and Goblin 2 shriek in frozen agony as they bear the full brunt of the blast and are killed immediately. Goblin 5 is able to avoid its full force taking only half damage.
Velshir moves forward confidently and with a hard thwack knocks the evading Goblin out 'cold', it collapses unconscious to the ground.
Sheyla reaches out, pulling moisture from the air, drawing forth an ice knife into her grasp and projecting it forward into the farthest Goblin (4) bursting open the chest of the startled creature killing him. The Goblin (1) nearest leaps towards a rock for shelter from the blast ( Save 16 ) and crashes into it from the blast smashing his skull on the rock killing him.
Loren spins upon reaching the group and sees flashes of ice and javelin and all Goblins on the ground.
Joshua's spell nearly started sparkles in an image of celebration at the close of the battle as he cancels his spell.
Please award yourselves 60 xp ea and 7 cp ea from the pouches they carried. Two scimitars are found to be usable/sellable and one intact short bow with 20 arrows.
The Goblin comes to and looks at you with wide eyes. He is easily intimidated and among other answers to questions you may have, you are able to determine the location of the Cragmaw Castle.
The goblin nods. He points out a rocky crag that juts out of the rocky area in the distance, almost 20 miles away. “Many Arrows tribe. live up near Wyvern Tor..old wyverns nest. In a cave somewhere, but hard to find. I don’t know where cave is, but over there.” He’s very weak and whispers “I think there is an ogre.” And passes out again.
Prentiss tries to calm his trembling hands. He'd feared that the dragon was growing, and the new power that he'd just unleashed both scared and thrilled him. The realisation that he was starting to enjoy this curse turned his stomach. Looking at the frozen bodies of the goblins lying in the dirt brought to mind a memory he'd tried to bury so many times; tonight was not going to be restful.
Clenching his fists, he joined the group's conversation "Aye, an ogre will be a fine challenge indeed. And a fine service to the people of this region if we can silence it" Looking in the direction of Wyvern Tor indicated by the now-inert goblin, he gestures "I suppose the logical thing would be to find and clear the orc camp, then on to Cragmaw?"
You estimate that you could get to Wyvern Tor by early evening the next day if you rest now. If you travel further, you could make half the distance and then camp closer to it.
"What say you? I'm in favor of getting as close as we can today. This will give us more time tomorrow for a stealthy approach, and if we get there in the middle of the day then some of the orcs may be out on patrol, we might catch their forces divided."

Looking around at his comrades and the flame in his hand sputters out "Well that seemed awfully easy."
"Thkse were goblins... wait until we get the orcs. Then you will have your challenge," Sheyla says I'm response.
Velshir crouches over his incapacitated goblin and says,
"Keep a lookout, someone, while we interrogate this fellow. There could be more of these little fiends about."
Then he disarms the goblin and binds its arms and legs with a bit of rope from his pack and encourages the goblin to wake up.
