While Phineas and Kilmus are conversing with the attendees of the wagon, Mica will hang back from a distance, looking to see if Sephek is anywhere nearby. If there are tracks in the snow leading from the caravan, Mica will note where they are leading before the snow covers them up.
'I mean, those dogs alone would be worth joining up, I worked with dogs a lot growing up, there's nothing like a warm dog on a cold night to keep you warm.'
As Kilmus keeps up his chatter, he keeps an eye out to see if the guards react to Phin or Rak.
After looking for Sephek and not seeing anyone, Rak would kick the snow. "This is taking forever. I'm cold and we need to get this guy to come out..." he would gumble towards kilmus after circling the caravan. Once near his companions once more. "Don't take this personally.. help me out Bane.. it is only pretend." He would say as he casts guidance on himself. A moment later the Githyanki would mutter under his breath as a rumble of thunder fills the air. "SEPHEK! Come to me! I.. Rak.. chosen of Auril have been tasked with rewarding you for your devotion!" Rak would say as his voice booms loudly in the dark. The cleric would cast Thaumaturgy repeatedly to get up to three effects going at the same time as his eyes turned white and glow in the dark. "Do not keep the chosen of Auril waiting... for patience is not one of my virtues." He would add casually. he isn't yelling but his voice is booming as though he were screaming as loudly has he could. The rumbling in the sky would stop but as Rak approached the caravan, the ground would shake with every step taken.
"Alright, what in the Nine Hells is going on here."Torrga growls, getting up. Her guards draw blades halfway. "How do you know Sephek, and not to mention the crazy stunt of admitting you're with Auril in a time like this! You're not from around here, are you.."
A man emerges from the tavern on your right, nearby. It's Sephek. "Is there a problem, Torrga?"he says, his voice calling out, sounding like an iceberg shifting. "Are these customers giving you trouble?"
"Aye, one of them's couple sandwiches sort of a picnic, I say."she points to Rak.
Sephek approaches slowly, his hand on the hilts of his blades. He's devilishly handsome. Like Gerald of Rivia. "My good man. I would appreciate if you do not cause trouble for my employer. Step away from the caravan, all of you, and leave."
"Arn't you cold out here? That's really weird that you are not cold out here." Rak would say as he looks around to see if anyone else notices. "How about we go inside and I can tell you the message in there... Too many ears listening out here." He would say casually as his eyes continue to glow white even though his voice is no longer booming.
Mica, ever one to be concerned, will remember the incantations his patron recited to him and will casually ready the spell Darkness from some dark alleyway, centered on the caravan, aiming to encompass Sephek and the soldiers (but not Rak), giving anyone inside the radius a difficult time attacking Rak and providing an opportunity to escape. Or, you know, kill whoever exits, one at a time. This only triggers if Mica sees someone preparing to attack Rak or Kilmus.
"Alright fine." Rak would reply as his eyes change and go back to normal. "We were hired to find a serial killer. We have been instructed to track you down because there is reason to believe that you are the killer. I pretended to be a cleric in service to Auril to get you to come out because we were lead to believe that the killer is someone in service to Auril." Rak would explain with an annoyed tone. "So we can either go inside and talk about how you don't serve the ice queen and you aren't a serial killer and how this is all a big misunderstanding, and how the cold never bothered you anyway, or I guess we can arrest you right here." Rak would say as his hand slides up to grab the hilt of his greatsword.
KIlmus steps forward alongside Rak, holding his halberd in one hand with his other open and out. 'Please, my friend, we don't wish any violence on you or yours, we are simply trying to stop the murders of innocents. Step inside with us, let me buy you a drink and let us hear your tale so we can put this matter to rest once and for all'
"There will be no talk. I am the killer."Sephek says, crouching in a battle stance. "As for you arresting me, you can certainly try, but I will not come with you. I do Auril's will. Men!"he calls out.
"Oh shite.."Torrga says, backing away and hiding under her caravan. The four guards separate in an attempt to surround you, weapons drawn, into the center of the small plaza, where you all are. A nice open area to do combat.

If Mica's darkness spell triggers, say when. Timing is everything, so they say.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Mica dives into the darkness, confident he can't be seen. Once he makes his way to just the base of the caravan, he turns around, and a Fiendish incantation followed by a momentary flash of purplish light illuminates the rather intimidating looking Kenku as Mica lights up Sephek and two of the guards. Or, really, any 3 closest to the caravan. He then hightails it out of there, staying in the darkness, and ducks around the caravan, taking advantage of his invisibility to go unharmed. Once behind the caravan, he immediately proceeds to have another panic attack. He remembers a joke the Fiend he contacted telling him as he recited the words for Mica to mimic - 'don't go warming your hands on bridges you're burning'. How ironic.
Action - Burning Hands: Each creature (Sephek, 2 guards) must make a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw or take 11 fire damage. Half as much on a success.
Note for magical darkness - unless anyone has an ability to see in magical darkness (which Mica does), attacks made against anyone inside the effect has disadvantage. Mica additionally has advantage on attacks while unseen by virtue of darkness.

As Rak spins up the light show, Kilmus would step in place behind the cleric, ready to cover anyone approaching from behind.

"Alright, what in the Nine Hells is going on here." Torrga growls, getting up. Her guards draw blades halfway. "How do you know Sephek, and not to mention the crazy stunt of admitting you're with Auril in a time like this! You're not from around here, are you.."

(OOC: I mean.. all the extra flavor I added should probably grant advantage right? Propbably?)
"I have an important message for you" Rak would say with a wink.
"Which is...?" he says, drawing an icy blade and an icy dagger. Smooth.
"Arn't you cold out here? That's really weird that you are not cold out here." Rak would say as he looks around to see if anyone else notices. Sephek doesn't move, and he's losing his patience. "Reveal your message and begone. I tire of your stalling. I won't ask again."
The four guards slowly move out from behind the caravan.
