When the Giant lumbers over - or if it decides not to come any closer - Mica pops out from behind a tree and holds out one hand! Still tense and scared, he calls upon the deity he made a pact with, hoping that his powers will work after years of silence. A mass of violet swirls surrounds the figure as Mica casts Hex, giving it disadvantage on any Strength checks, and unleashes a bolt of purple energy straight at the figure's head!
Bonus Action: Hex Action: Eldritch Blast - to hit: 17 dealing 2 Force + 3 Necrotic damage.
He hears Rak and Kilmus and is not fooled by the deception. Here comes the surprise attack: Phineas misses but Mica's eldritch blast hits!
Verbeeg: 6

Kilmus steps forward into the van and brings his Halberd around in a looping arc and then spins it back to strike again with the haft.

Rak would wait until either the giant engaged Kilmus or until it approached him before moving towards the giant and attempting to circle behind it. Once behind the creature if possible he would swing down hard with his greatsword before following it up with a second hard slash!

Darting forward infront of Kilmus with quick feet, Fintan delivers a shortsword blow to the head and if it hits the fleshy mark she follows with a dagger to the knee.
Two-Weapon Fighting
When you take the Attack action and attack with a light melee weapon that you're holding in one hand, you can use a bonus action to attack with a different light melee weapon that you're holding in the other hand. You don't add your ability modifier to the damage of the bonus attack, unless that modifier is negative.
If either weapon has the thrown property, you can throw the weapon, instead of making a melee attack with it.

(OOC R1 attack for Kilmus before I turn in for the night)
Kilmus holds his ground as the Verbeeg bears down on him, trusting in his armor and the Blessing of Bane to help him survive the monster's assault.
'Back foul creature - you will slay no one else today!' The long hafted weapon whips around and lashes out again, a flurry of blows meant to hold the Giants attention and keep him from striking any of his new comrades.
Move: Hold position in front of the monster, keeping lines of fire open Attack: 9 Damage: 12 Bonus: Polearm Master Attack: Attack: 19 Damage: 4

Mica runs a little closer, quite scared from the size of the creature, fires two daggers at the creature, amplified by the purple energy swirling around the creature!
Attack: Dagger - To Hit: 25 dealing 6 + 5 damage. Bonus Attack: Dagger - To Hit: 21 dealing 1 + 1 damage. Movement: Mica will get as far away as possible, ducking behind a tree. A splitting migraine begins to beat in his head, and his vision blurs - he’s remembering something that was brought up by his expenditure of arcana.

Phineas lets out a cry of anguish as Kilmus drops. The halfling nocks another arrow, letting it fly toward the beast. “Heal our ally,” he screams, stepping out into the open as he shoots in hopes of drawing the giant back his way. “Over here, you effen’ monsta!”

Mica's looking pretty shaken, especially seeing Kilmus get run through. Still, he shakes off his headache enough to send another bolt zapping at the creature.

Seeing the crator in the ground that used to be Kilmus, The githyanki would snarl. "You all stay out of its reach!" he would shout to his remaining companions as he takes one hand off of his greatsword and balls it into a fist. Green wisps of sickly energy would swirl around the fist as he attempts to slam it into the giant... hoping to inflict wounds. He would then quickly grab his sword once again with both hands and strike at the giant!
Your greatsword hacks into the verbeeg and with a final grunt of agony and surprise in it's eyes, it falls heavy to the ground with a large thump, dead. Nearby, Kilmus lays skewered, a gaping hole letting you know his grim fate. The Chwinga pops it's head out from cover, and sadly shakes his head.
Rak would look towards Kilmus and shake his head before moving around to the side of the Verbeeg. With one hard overhead swing the Githyanki would remove the head from the creature before kicking it off to the side. He would then walk over to Kilmus and kneel. Griping his amulet he would mutter a few words in gith before standing up and looking towards his companions. "One of you grab the head. We'll need it as proof of the kill. Someone else convince the chex-mix to come with us while I grab Kilmus." He would say coldly... "Although I suppose we should check to make sure there is no one else inside the cave before we leave... or anything of value.."
