Crudely executed symbols and glyphs, scribed in bright green dye, decorate this large and irregularly shaped crumbling chamber. A large pit in the center shows evidence of a recent fire. A metallic cage in the middle of the southern wall contains a gaping hole and stands empty. A small wooden bench draped with green cloth is next to the cage, and several small objects rest on it. A bedroll lies near the wooden bench, and the sound of whimpering comes from inside it.
Stone throws his dart across the room, aiming for the wall above the bedroll to draw out whatever is inside.

The dart sinks into the stone above the bedroll with a decisive schink sound. "Aaahh!" cries a voice from the bedroll. The group hears shuffling as whatever is in the bedroll struggles to get out in a panic. Anyone observing now watches as a very startled and very weepy Kobold peeks over the bench to the group. "Go away!" He says between sniffles "Leave Meepo alone..."
Whispering to the group, "This could be an ambush, be ready for anything."
Gavin then turns to the kobold, "Your name is Meepo? Why are you crying? Please excuse my companions, we encountered danger earlier and wish to avoid harm."
Meepo peeks over the bench a bit more as Gavin speaks to him. "Meepo was Keeper. Keeper! Then wretched Goblins steel away Calcryx!" At this point, Meepo hurls himself onto the ruined metal bars of the cage across from the bench. With a deep breath, he sobs and sniffles and wails. He's just a mess! "Now Meepo disgraced! Meepo Keeper of Clan's Dragon, but Dragon stolen away!" As he moans on, the numerous scars and bruises over his body shows evidence that he has indeed been working with something mean.
Talking to Meepo, "You say goblins stole a dragon from you? We saw some slain goblins on our way here. Could you tell us more?"
Turning back to his companions, "I don't like this talk of cultists. If there is a dragon, I think we should find it to keep it out of the hands of the cult and the goblins."

Wynn, you have no idea what these symbols might be. It's almost as if someone rolled a Legendarilypoor roll ( lol )
Barnos, you too have no idea what dragon may have been here just based off of what type of nesting the Kobolds have made for it.
Stone, that'll be an Investigation check to make any sort of intelligence based deductions.
Gavin, this talk and curiosity about the dragon seems to be bringing Meepo out of his stupor. "Meepo don't know more..." He says between a few sad sniffles. "But...But Yusdrayl might. Yusdrayl our Leader. Yusdrayl smart! " He nods fervently, seeming to get some sort of idea in his head. "You strong. You all strong. Brave adventurers! Meepo bring you to Yusdrayl if you make nice. Promise make nice and find Calcryx, and Meepo take you to Yusdrayl...but only if you promise you make nice!" He looks to everyone, clearly eager and excited.
(Would you be able to use the roll I had before for investigation? Rolled 16, then added WIS and prof for bonuses (+5).)

Stone observes that the cage is just beaten and ripped apart in places. You see spaces where the bars were beaten in. Some areas were sawed open by something. Some areas even have what appear to be bite marks! Heck, you even find a tooth! Mostely, though, it looks like the cage door was beaten in and torn away. With such a thorough investigation between Stone and the other party members, you also find just a few white scales littered about within the hay of the cage.
Barnos, there is a door that sticks out to you. It's not because of which has been used more (which is almost impossible to tell), but because of the hideous stench emanating from it.
As the door opens Barnos draws the arrow back and follows Stone in, any hostel movement and I fire.

Wynn nods in agreement with Gavin. He the proceeds to examine the symbols and try to determine if they are something he would recognize.

Ooc screenshotting that, I got a 0 in DnD!
Barnos walks over to the cage and inspects it to try and determine what type of Dragon it my be.

"Seems like a strong cage for goblins to tear apart like that."

Well a base 16 will do anyway!

To Meepo: What is beyond this door?
