(The group scouts the area as the Blacksmith leads the way. They see a few townspeople here or there, but not anything that looks dangerous or strange. The party follows Rickard to his workshop on the North edge of town. The signs of a struggle are everywhere: Broken pots litter the floor, splintered chairs and tables, etc. A goblin lays dead on the floor, a poker thus his chest. The layout of his workshop is roughly as shown:
"Well, here it is. I haven't really had a chance to look things over, I went for help as soon as I came to."
DM's Note: You are free to look around. A little note about Spoilers: When you get a spoiler, keep in mind that this is information only you know. It's up to you to convey that information to the rest of your party. If you don't tell them, they don't know.
Also, remember, if you're going to roll, the difference between Perception (I look and see...) and Investigation (I see and deduce...). You have to be specific about what you're looking at when you make an Investigation roll. You can't just say, "I Investigate the room." You have to say, for example, "I Investigate the Workbench." When you roll, make sure to add your modifiers. Look at your Character Sheet under Skills and add the number to your roll.
Sorry for the crappy Paint drawing, it's not to scale or anything, it's just meant to give you all a rough idea of how everything is set up. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. I want to make sure stuff is clear for you guys.
(Zephbegins to examine the Goblin corpse. He seems to have been young. He's wearing dirty, ratty leather armor, a rusty dagger tucked in his belt. The blacksmith tool seems to have caught him right in his little goblin heart, so you're pretty sure he died instantly.
Drakis is also looking around at the body, but seems more concerned with rifling through his pockets for change that finding anything out. He finds 2 cp, a collection of lint and the same ratty armor and rusty dagger.)
DMs note: Eliza, you have to be more specific. I'll give you something this time.
(Eliza looks around the workshop a bit. It's pretty bare. There is a big table with some small metal pieces that look to be part of a plow and a few horseshoes, but you notice there's not really any weapons or armor here.
Drakis looks around the furniture and broken pottery, it seems to be very utilitarian, not fancy or particularly good quality pieces.
(Zeph searches around for some tracks.)
Spoiler for Zeph only:
You are able to determine that there were about 7 sets of tracks. 6 appear to be Goblin tracks, and 1 seems to be from a small human. The tracks seem to be going to a fence on the far northeast side of the property.
"Did anyone find anything useful, I can't seem to see anything out here" he goes and peaks into the other room where Zeph was last seen going "Hey you find anything?"
DMs note: Damn, it looks like we lost Zeph as well. I'll play for him for now, hopefully he comes back.
"Hey guys, look at this."

Rickard perks up as he realizes what Zeph just said.)
"She's walking? That means she's still alive! Oh thank the gods!"
"Hmm the longer we wait the colder the trail will be, I say we head out immediately"
“I agree, we better hurry.”

Since Drakis didn’t find anything he goes up to the Eliza the Zeph to see if they found anything useful about where the goblins might’ve gone
Drakis
Eliza go up to the blacksmith and ask him a question:
”Did the goblins take anything useful that someone would need?”
Eliza
DMs note: Not sure if I mentioned it, we lost Trisjyre, I guess I'll play her role.
(Rickard looks to see what's missing.)
