(There’s plenty of different size rocks along the cliff. You find several you think will work, block off the plate. It now looks like it won’t move.
Now that you’re not worried about the trap, you all look at the cliff on the other side. It looks like it’s similar from where you came from, with a similar door that you can see is cracked slightly open.)
DM note: Give me a Perception check for when you get to the door.
(The party carefully makes their way across the bridge, one at a time. Once they get to the other side, they peer carefully thru the slightly open door.)
Spoiler for Carxus, Gerard and Lena:
You each try to take a quick glance thru the crack of the door, but can't really see much, just a little bit of light.
Spoiler for Nikta:
As you peer inside, you see a large Bugbear, a kind of super Goblin, who may be the leader. He looks pretty tough, with thick furs and armor, and a giant Warhammer over his shoulder. Next to him, a regular Goblin in robes stands before a makeshift altar, chanting words that appear to be part of a ritual.
Spoiler for Lorys:

Next to him, a regular Goblin in robes stands before a makeshift altar, chanting words that appear to be part of a ritual. You adjust your angle and see that the makeshift altar is in front of a large statue that looks like the leader of the Delian Order, Sextus Varius. You adjust your angle again, and see that there are 3 Goblins standing about on the right side of the room, talking among themselves, not really paying much attention. As you make one final adjustment, you see that on the far left corner of the room, a small girl is squatting in a small cage, her dirty, tear-stained face covered in dirt and mucus. She sobs softly, as if she has been crying for hours and hours and is just about cried out.
"Don't stop", bellows out the Bugbear at the Shaman Goblin (in common), "we're so close. Soon, this place will become a proper temple for the Goblin God, and we will consecrate it... with the blood of the innocent! Nothing will stop us!"
The Bugbear lets out an evil laugh as the Shaman Goblin continues to chant and perform the ritual.
"The good news is that Bess still lives," Lorys tells her companions and describes what she saw through the door. "The way I see it, we have two choices: pick off the little ones, then go for the Bugbear; or take out the leader and then deal with the goblins. Either way, we should quickly stop that Shaman and interrupt whatever dark ritual he's performing."
“I can open up w some fire for the two performing the ritual - goblins seem like the sort that would potentially give way if we take out their leader quickly.”
"I say we jump them, try to get them by surprise. Two or three of us hit the caster and big guy, and the others hit the foot soldiers. Hopefully we can keep them away from Bess in the fray... any other ideas?" I grumble through the scarf...

Jacob Bray - The Call of Lon-Dia, Human Bloodhunter 3
"I have a spell that could help us. If these goblins prove to be slow they will outlined in a bright light and should be easier to hit. I can also provide a small advantage to a few of you before we make our surprise attack."
Lena is going to cast Guidance on several members of her team right before they attack. She then is going get ready to cast Faerie Fire on the Bugbear and the Shaman.(Dex save 12 for Faerie Fire)
OOC: DM I'll let you decide how many people I can give guidance to before we attack.I'd like to get at least Gerald, Nikta, and Lorys if possible.
Guidance is a Concentration based spell, so you can only cast it on one person at a time. Think of it like praying over someone to your God to help them. Who would you like to cast it on?
