After this first week or so I'm really enjoying this game.
The gameplay is good and our group seems to have a nice flow where we're all on at close to the same time each day. I personally like that Lancellot will make Savings Throw rolls when we aren't around, to keep everything moving. I like gradually figuring out the mechanics of the dungeon with the party, and talking about what we should do each round.
Finally, I like that the game feels tough. It's not easy to push through any of the rooms, even when it seems like we're starting with the upper hand or a strong damage-intense first round of hits.
The map is the thing I use the least but would help the most when figuring out who's where, turn order, etc
The only frustrating thing (besides the constant terrible rolls) is that it feels like my character doesn't do a lot of damage and not of much utility in the healing department yet. Nature Cleric, in hindsight, is not the best domain to be underground all the time.
I'm having a lot of fun so far, and I really like how levels have started getting more diverse! Spoiler has specific level details.
That bedroom with the specter was nice and flavorful. I also like the restricted space of the long hallway! It is a little bit more interesting then a 40/40 room. While I said that, the regular room is good too!

Another cleric eh? :) I went Light cleric. Our group doesn’t have any other spell casters, so I figured healing + some blasting would be needed. But this is my first time playing a cleric so it’s new to me there as well.
Agreed about some classes not being useful as said above. It’s weird for me (as a cleric) to not take guidance, but without many skill checks it seemed I could use the cantrip slot elsewhere.

I’m curious how far all the groups are. There are three groups yeah? We recently hit level 2, but just had another reset, so are headed back in! But this time we hit the shop so have some actual armor, meaning hopefully things will go a bit more smoothly...

For anyone that is curious... Arona, Rácz, Scal, and Viridi are also Level 2... We have not gotten the shop yet... but hopefully, it comes up soon! I think we are trying to rush to level 3 and hopefully, we can get there...
Honestly, this is really fun to play, and learning the inner machinations as a DM is super interesting as well... (We chatted earlier about this, but I would work to make the rules a bit more clear in certain places (especially about resets))
EDIT: *facepalm* I got ninja'ed again... This happens to me way too often...
Roguelike Group 2 (with Terwilligher) is in our first room since leveling to 2. Looked like we might not make it due to not having a rest. Terwilligher’s and my character were both knocked out and both bounced back up with nat 20s to rejoin the battle. Incredible! We should win this room after all. Haven’t seen a shop, yet.
Okay... 2 Nat 20s on death saving throws is starting to make me suspicious... Both the group that I am playing and the one I am DMing have rolled an ABSOLUTELY EXORBITANT number of natural 20s (mostly on both sides)... It makes the game hilarious... But I'm starting to think that something is wrong the DnDBeyond's Random Number Generator.
(BTW: For Chan/Gogon/Sythm/Yuno... I rolled another crit on the first attacks in your next room... Sorry XD)

Lancellot makes some solid monster Savings Throws too.
Another piece of feedback - when I'm at my desktop and really using the Sheets map it's incredibly useful. Seeing turn order and spatial movements and thinking about who is left where is awesome. It's been developing as a tool, and getting more useful with each iteration.

Suuuure... The other teams get nat 20s on dead saves. For us it’s nat 20s from the DM to smack us down... :P

I’m happy to see my idea being used :D
