Gryrig steps out of the shadows, with a smile and open arms as if recognising and greeting old friends.
"Hanss?! Franss! What are you two doing here? Of all the places to find you two!"
Deception: 24 + psi die 1

Psionic Power: Psi-Bolstered Knack (Special)
If you fail an ability check using a skill or tool with which you have proficiency, you can roll one Psionic Energy die (1d8) and add the number rolled to the check, potentially turning failure into success. You expend the die only if the roll succeeds.
(Long shot, I know. Let's hope the dice gods like their accents as much as I do)
Fraunss replies still tense in Orcish "Who are you?"
Pretending to look puzzled for a moment by Franss not recognising him, Gryrig replies "Yes, it's been a while, has it not? I was a guard with some merchants who came to trade with you. To be honest, I don't blame you for not remembering me, I was a bit younger and probably less noticeable then." Pausing for a second, for effect as if trying to recall those days, he adds "It's also possible that I was wearing a disguise. You know what it's like when you need to not be found for a while." At this point in the conversation, he briefly uses his Hat of Disguise to magically transform himself into the looks of various different human and orc guards to illustrate the point, before dismissing it and resuming his normal guise. Trying to quickly move the topic away from how/if they know him and onto safer ground he continues "Anyway, we can catch up on the old days later. What are you two doing down here? We stumbled on some caves in the ground and wanted to take shelter, then we started to explore and now ... well, I know you'll laugh at this ... but now we are a little lost in this cave. Do you know what this place is? And what was all the noise and the drums about?"
Azzure, silent in the background speaks into his hand, “We are here to pump …(snaps his fingers softly) …. you up.”
Gryrig catches the comment and tries to give Assure a subtle but meaningful look to stay his hand for the moment.
(It's much easier to get information from someone alive. Two Orcs should not be much of a threat for our group - at least not compared to Dragons - so why not let them live for a bit. And these two would be far more helpful alive than dead. Also, this seems fun.)

Duncan:
Understanding Orcish himself, Duncan frowns and answers in their native tongue, “Only a girlie-man would allow himself to be made a slave. I can translate for you or just slice you into ribbons if you make trouble…Your choice.”

Gryrig: "Do you know what this place is? We took shelter from the weather in a cave which turned to be this underground complex we found you in.
Also, do you know what is going on with the drums? We heard noises like that of a great Orc horde with drums, which have now stopped.
Do you know what's going on, my friends?"
(Ooc. I'm not quite clear on how much of the previous posts Hanss and Franss would have understood from context etc. If necessary Gryrig would ask Duncan to translate the gist of the earlier bits first before coming to these questions.)
(Ok. So this cave network is an Orc dwelling-place with potentially hundreds of them? That's good to know. Maybe we shouldn't be too keen to go much further in. Although it's possible there is some treasure, I'm not sure we can face a whole orc tribe. Perhaps we should head back out and make our way to the meeting in the town we were invited to instead?
Anything else we want to ask them or need to know?
Finally, after we have all we need, should we leave them alive or kill them?)
Azzure asks Gryrig, “Do they know the way out? If they could tell us what is further in and also around here that would be great. Perhaps we should just leave and be on our way.”

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
"Ya its our home. The drums were in da celebration of the dragon harvest."
Haunss
"I suggest you leave, ya, Achmed will make you breading slaves with the others. Or Kill you."
(sorry I watch too much tv🤣 )
(asking Duncan to translate again) "So, where exactly are we, and where do these tunnels head? Which one is the way to the rest of the Horde, and which one is the way out? Is there anything else we should look at, or even avoid, on our way through?"
Growling with distaste as he translates, Duncan offers in Common to his allies, “That dragon was our kill. And I mislike the implication of others enslaved as breeders. Let us ask where they are held at least, that we might free them.”

(Breeding)
OOC. Call me naïve, but I had read that very literally. In my mind, breading slaves worked in a sort of large large kitchen/bakery in the caves, kneading the bread dough and baking food to still the hunger of the Orc horde. I never even considered that this was supposed to read "breeding". That's a lot more horrible than bread-making. Perhaps we should rescue them?

(Sorry I literally face planted the other day and found it hard to concentrate on DMing with a shiner and back pain.)
Every thing they've said has been in Orcish and they've not spoke anything else do you have anything to translate or do any of you speak Orcish?
Fraunss "Who is dis Haunss his tones seem submissive ya? But he is spoke in a language I don't know."
Haunss shrugs "Nine, I don't speak that ether"
Fraunss gestures with his drawn sword for you to get on your knees "Once you learn, you will be a good "slave ya?"
said in orcish insight on his gesture, apparently your overtures were well met, but misunderstood.
