Bryn will continue his sprint after Vedui, trying to hamstring the elf as he passes by.
Attack: 12 Damage: 7
Bryn, you would need to make an athletics or acrobatics check to move around the elf, as this gap is only 5ft wide and to narrow to easily pass around him, DC 14. A failed check will cause you to fall prone.
Ann, you could do the same, except you'd need to spend an extra 5 ft of movement if Bryn fails because moving through an allied square is difficult terrain.
(On that topic about running past them. Would that be an action? Because I'm pretty sure I've used my 40 ft. of movement to get there, and then I'd have to choose between the action to dash, or the other option to run past them with that check, but not both.)
Hey all! Sorry for the delay, I wrote a post yesterday but apparently it didn't send correctly.
Bryn, you succeed at tumbling past the elf to get close to Vedui again, but miss your attack on him.
Ann, the elf is now in range for you if you wish to attack with your sword. Also, you notice two things. First, there is a ladder leading up to the rooftops if you wanted to take an alternate route, and second, you notice a faint black aura around all the enemies that appears to be coming from the halfling at the front of the group.
Getting close to the elf thanks to Bryn tumbling past him, Ann aims for the leg, in an attempt to non lethally stop the elf from running away, even if her rapier might cut a little.
So, Rowan and Quinry have begun moving back North into the market. Quinry, at the end of your Dash you reenter the market square and immediately notice that Jormund is backed against the wall of the temple with Harry and Doloran behind him. 3 red-cloaked men have climbed the steps and are looking for an opportunity to attack.
Quinry notices the adventurers he just met being back to a wall by some red cloaks.
Rowan and Quinry are racing back into the market square, and Rowan narrowiy misses the clump of red cloaks surrounding Jormund with a firebolt,
Jormund prepares his defenses, and calls holy fire down on the group of red-cloaked assailants, and asks for the aid of Harry Halfpint and a priest of Pelor in defending the steps of the sanctuary.
Bryn and Ann close with their own trio of assailants attempting to flee with the body of Vedui, and
Jared follows hot on their heels. (Jared, I believe you are about 50ft behind Bryn and Ann)
Sir Henry and the guards also in hot pursuit of Vedui's captors, about halfway between Bryn and Jared.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Begin NPC Round 3
Market Square
1. One of the red cloaks , a man with a gold tooth and white hair, will attack Jormund with a flurry of fists. Attack1: 9 Damage: 6 Attack2: 17 Damage: 3.
2. the Second, a muscular woman whose shaved head is covered with tattoos, will rush up to Harry and attempt to drag him away with a grapple, contested by his acrobatics. Monk athletics: 11 Harry acrobatics21. He struggles in her grasp, before managing to wriggle free.
3. The third red cloak, a sickly looking old man with hunch and snaggle tooth, will attempt to sneak past your guard to cast a spell on Doloran. You will get an attack of opportunity first though Jormund.
4. Harry will dance away from the woman and shout out "Why won't you people leave me alone!" Before smashing his hands together and casting thunderclap, which will hit the old man, the tattooed woman, Doloran, and accidentally you Jormund. Make a con save DC 12.

Alleychase
1. the bullish man carrying Vedui will strike at Bryn with a ham sized fist and a headbutt before continuing to move down the gap 30ft, exiting onto the first road north of the square. This will provoke an AOO from Bryn
Attack: 6 Damage: 3
Attack: 9 Damage: 8

Attack: 27 Damage: 7
Attack: 24 Damage: 11
3. the halfling will Dash away 50ft. across the street
4. Sir Henry and the guards dash, but are stuck at the entrance to the gap between houses. they are now only 40ft. behind the red cloaks.
Ann's still carrying a few wounds from the last fight, so she's almost stopped when the elf lashes back at her despite easily parrying the first hit with her sword. With thoughts of what this all meant to her and her honor, she remains standing and pursues the elf with a stab. (AoO)
Attack:8Damage:11 Piercing
Would she back down now? Another attack and she's down for the count. Ann shakes her head, answering the questions she asked herself. She hones in on the fleeing trio and tries to reach, preferably, the man carrying Vedui, but she'll attack the elf if she can't reach him. (Attacking nonlethally either way, just like the first attack.)
Enya continues to weave between the feet of the man with Vedui and the elf, aiming to be as distracting as possible but dart away from any oncoming fists at the last second. (Dodge)
Rowan flinches at the sudden thunderclap that rocks the marketplace, instinctively throwing up a hand to protect her face from a nonexistent assault. Once she realizes what's happened and that she's (mostly) safe, she hurls another fire bolt in a high arc towards the step of the temple, aiming for the tattooed woman.
4. Harry will dance away from the woman and shout out "Why won't you people leave me alone!" Before smashing his hands together and casting thunderclap, which will hit the old man, the tattooed woman, Doloran, and accidentally you Jormund. Make a con save DC 12.

Sorry, I forgot about the readied action! Actually, I believe the readied action would take up your reaction from round 3, so you would only get the readied attack, not the AOO. However, since you were waiting within the range of Doloran, I'll let you choose who you hit with the attack. Do you want to hit sneaky old man or gold-tooth-white-hair with it?

Way to stick to the readied action's wording. For your honesty, Jormund can have an inspiration! I don't see a scenario where the old man would move in first, as he is definitely the squishiest of the 3.
Without being hit, the old man is able to cast cure wounds on Doloran for 9.
