Talion shakes his head. So much for ambushing them. He sighs and watches around him, wary of anything else emerging up from out of the ground (or anywhere else)...
Bertolt will go to 13 so that he can look into the room and see the ghoul, glaring at it since it did not seem to be effected by his last round of mocking. "By the bloody bowels of the nine hells and every lair of the abyss fall down and die!"

Talion decides to take a leaf from Ervan's book and run around to the other side via the mimic room. He winks at Sho as he scurries past him, moving as fast as possible to J14 where he skids to a stop, pleased to see Onyx still alive and attended by Lucky Bear.
Taking in the scene, he crouches down beside the immobilized warrior, meat clever in hand, and a broad grin on his face...

Leaning in, he whispers something in the warriors ear before steeling himself to move on and attack when next he gets the chance.
Onyx
Leaning in, he whispers in the warriors ear, "You deny it, but this house has its claws in you yet. None of us -- not even Sho -- need be your enemy, unless you make it so."
When he has said his piece, he steels himself to move on and attack when next he gets the chance.
With a final glance at Onyx, his grin fades as he focuses on the sounds from the next room. "Wish me luck", he says to the warrior's unmoving body before moving to K15 (or k16?).
(( Hoping Lucky Bear counts as tiny, otherwise, movement probably ends in mimic room ))

Sho glances at Talion as the man scampered past him and leapt into darkness. He seems to have a plan... of some sorts. Sho moves up to E11 to get a line of sight with the ghoul, shoots some fire, then moves back to F12.

The ghoul flinches and moans as The might of Sho’s deity blasts it to smithereens! The ghoul is destroyed and is a pile of ash now. Combat is over! Onyx is freeeeeeeeeeee!
A moment after the ghoul falls, Onyx exhales as his muscles release. Without further word, he wipes the dog spittle from his face, hauls himself to his feat, and sheathes his sword.

Another medical problem. Indefinite hiatus. Sorry, all.
Stepping heavily past the bodies of the ghasts, Sho feels whatever the pain and paralysis that had left in his blood was slipping away down his fingertips, and the numbness takes over again. Coming around the around, he sees the mushy pile of used-to-be-a-ghoul and the apparently relieved elf.
“We did it?” Sho laughs.
He approaches with ominous steps, and with each sentence he moves closer, “You wanted to leave Onyx dead. You expected Talion to be your human shield while you go make yourself a barricade. You slipped away when we were flanked by the ghasts, so you can scour some sweet loot for yourself.”
As Sho is standing right in front of the elf, he pauses, and then continues with a colder tone, ”You run away the second it gets difficult, and swoop in when things start to turn around. You’d trade all of us for your own skin without skipping a beat, wouldn’t you?”
“But of course,” Sho repeats slowly, word by word, “We did it.”
He gives Erven one last look, with contempt and disgust, and a hint of regret, before moving past the elf to check on the warrior, seeing that he’s gotten himself together again, he sighs and continues to the mimic room to rest.
Bertolt sheathes his sword, running a hand over his face to wipe some sweat out of his face. He slowly makes his way farther into the room where their downed ally was. "We did well keeping danger off our companion."
As the bard's enters the room Talion looks up and listens to his words, nodding. "This house is trying to drive us apart, but look what we've have achieved working together: Our asses out of the frying pan twice now! Shaky starts both times. But we recovered. That's better than just winning."
He takes a step back and looks at the old scholar speculatively, "You know, back in the day, word on the streets was you don't attack lone bards. I thought that was because people liked their pretty songs, and if they were attacked, they'd all stop coming. Now I know different! Nicely done old man. Nicely done."
As he has been speaking the voice of the priest coming from the other room catches his attention. He listens for a time then closes his eyes briefly and sighs. He lowers his voice, "Greed every time, eh? If it's not one thing, it's another. That's been my experience with the pious ones...they hide behind their piety and then just do and take what they want. Sho's seems different though, don't you think? Weird. But different."
(( Heartfelt and moving speeches moved to a later timeslot! ))
When Sho appears in the room he smiles broadly at the strange priest, moves to clap him on the back, but thinks better of it, instead nodding in respect. Owe that man my life several times over. Looks like shit though. Glancing in Ervan's direction, and noting the new cloak he just stares for a moment before turning back to Sho. "He may be as old as the hills, but he's as green as they come. Greed and fear sometimes overtake a man."
A little later, as everyone collects in the room, Talion looks around the group, his grin gone and his tone serious. "I know we have our differences. Life at the bottom makes for uneasy alliances. You don't get much choice who's in your crew, and the only way to survive is with a code. Something that we all agree to. Something sworn by all of us, by whatever binds us. Something that will stop us murdering each other." He looks from Ervan to Sho and then to Onyx and back.
"Sound good?" he asks, eyebrows raised, fidgeting slightly. "I've found that starting simple is best." He begins counting on his fingers, "One: Don't harm your Crew, and help them when possible" his gaze settles in Ervan and the cloak at the last words. "Two: If one Crew member harms another, the Crew decides their fate; Three: the whole Crew is bound by oath to act on those decisions; and Four: These rules do not apply to Talion." His grin returns, "But I'm willing to skip that one."
He looks down at the dog and nods, "There's a whole bunch of other stuff we could add, about family, friends -- dogs -- and so on, but I really think we should just keep it simple...if we can all agree not to kill each other, that will be a very good start. What do you all think?"
He stops to look around once more at everyone... then remembers something else. "I should have said...Eye for an eye is the usual measure, unless the victim pleads for leniency, and they can't do that if they are dead."

Onyx does not respond to Talion. Instead, his gaze moves from person to person, making momentary eye contact before flicking to the next person in their group. If he is communicating, he is not using spoken language.
He sighs, apparently ignoring the warlock's speech and shuffles off to the master bedroom from which the ghasts had sprung. Without any further ado, he begins to search the room for anything of use. His sword is still sheathed, his guard apparently lowered.

Erven stomps in the head of the ghoul which is now a pile of mush on the floor. He takes a deep breath and a long sigh. “We did it.” He says quietly.
