Talion shakes his head sadly, "I wouldn't know a herb from a toad. So...maybe you could tell me how much such herbs might cost?" He shrugs and clips a fingernail, tossing it into the bag, then counts out some gold. "Could you deliver the barrel of ale to his lordships? My friends have some business there, and ... I should be there too. They'd be lost without me."
Erven goes over to the table, picks up the shears, and finds some extra long pieces of straggly hair, areas that need to be cut anyway. He cuts off the pieces, tries to use the shears to trim his hair the best that he can. He sets the shears down and brings the hair over to Bildrath. "This seems like hocus pocus to me. But now I'm curious. Tell me, Bildrath, what price would you give me if I traded this leather armor in as well? How low can you drop your price?"

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
@Talion - she mentions that you give her how much you’d like to spend and you can get that much herbs. She smiles as she sees you toss in the finger nails.
@Erven - Bildrath smiles as you cut the hair for him. He promptly takes some some and places in the vial. After a few moments when nothing happens, he sighs in relief. “Can’t be too careful these days you know. Those leathers? I could take 10 gold off the price.”
Sho, Onyx, and Bertolt - you pass the time doing what you described. Bertolt, while the former Burgomaster wasn’t a scholar by any means, you find several books of poetry, limericks, and even a book of songs. The books of songs is rather old and it’s title, apt: Songs of Freedom. Another large collection of books catches your eye that seems to detail history of the area dating back several centuries. It also has several maps and versions of maps of Barovia.
Irek is interested in all of you and asks many questions about where you’ve been, what you’ve seen, and whether or not you’ve “had your cards read” or not. He also talks about Mary and how the situation was horrible when it happened. He also says that he thought he might marry Gertruda one day but to be honest, her mother kept her locked up pretty tight. He isn’t surprised she left, if that’s what happened to her.
He asks all of you, “What do you think of my land so far?”
@Talion - she mentions that you give her how much you’d like to spend and you can get that much herbs. She smiles as she sees you toss in the finger nails.
Talion smiles in thanks, and hands over thirty gold for herbs, and another six for the ale. "Two smaller barrels, if you have them...for the ale."
He looks at each of them in turn, wondering what their motives might be, his expression serious. We are a new power in town, but is that really all? "I owe you a favour, ladies, and that is no small thing where I come from. Let us seal the deal with a drink..." his grin returns, "...is there some drink that you like and think I should try?"
(( Edit: 36 gold removed; let me know what the drinks cost ))
Edit 2: @DM: How long has this taken? Wondering if a short rest, or if he will be back at the Manor in time to answer Irek?
"How about this, I'll give you my leather armor, and buy your rapier, shield and studded leather armor, dyed a dark green color, and 20 arrows, for 200 gold. What do you say? That is higher than the prices I'm used to paying, but I enjoy talking to you Bildrath. We will bring light to the darkness Bildrath, believe in me, please, give me a chance to help your village."

"Save it, elf. 225 gold, and that's not including the arrows. And I'm being generous with the scraps yer wearin'. Take it or leave it." Around this time, a knock is heard in the back. Perry goes and answers it and you hear muffled voices. Perry comes back and whispers something to Bildrath. Bildrath purses his lips and closes his eyes. He nods and reaches under the table and grabs a small package. He drops the coin into a purse, you hear the clinks and see Bildrath snicker. He looks back up at you.

She comes back with a small pack of herbs, significantly less than what you are used to, but for what you want it should be okay. Drinks cost 1 gold.
Irek asks while you're away. The "all" is just Onyx, Bertolt, and Sho (if they are still around). When you do rest, it will be a long rest.
"Ok, forget the arrows and forget the dye. You said 200 for the rapier, shield and studded leather armor. And 10 off for my leather armor". Erven starts to remove his leathers and puts them on the counter. "Here's 190 gold, By the way, I have some friends who might want to look at your goods as well, they might be by tomorrow." Erven takes the rapier with the sheath, puts on the studded leather armor with gloves and helmet, and takes the shield with a stag on it. "Good day sir. Bildrath, Perry, nice to meet you." And with that he leaves the shop, heading back to Ismark's house. He wishes to have dinner, wander through the house looking at items, reading up about their family, and then head to bed for the night.

Once back in the mansion (if he gets there!) Talion greets the others then, Assuming he has enough for his needs, asks Ismark if he might borrow a brazier, pan or cooking pot, and disappears upstairs with it...
He also talks about Mary and how the situation was horrible when it happened. He also says that he thought he might marry Gertruda one day but to be honest, her mother kept her locked up pretty tight. He isn’t surprised she left, if that’s what happened to her.
"Yet your brother was pretty keen on us helping return her to her abuser."
Sho finds a easy place and browses through some of the books. He closes the book on his lap when Irek asked about card reading, and turns to regard him fully. "No." He says, "Have you?"

You gave 30gp and have enough herbs for 10gp worth. There are those things in the kitchen but they ask what you want with it in the first place.

“My brother, has the entire town to think of. That’s Mary’s daughter. I suppose you have a better plan for protecting against the demons we face. Of course you do. I long to travel to your enlightened society, most high one.” He doesn’t talk to you again.
There is a knock at the door sometime after you’re all back at the mansion. Opening the door, you find a barrel of ale, or whatever it was you bought Talion. A hulking form retreats back the way it came. Erven, you’d recognize him as Perry, from Bildrath’s.

"I have need to perform a ritual...burn some herbs and incense; it should not take long. Better in a brazier or pan, than outside or on the floor."
Talion pauses, brow furrowing. "My beliefs are my own, and I follow no god."
He glances at Onyx then at Sho, and shrugs. "If that is insufficient for you, then I shall return to the inn. You did request our help...Just say the word if you no longer want it."
Ismark nods. "Aye, that I did. I would prefer no strange magics in this house. It has a way of being "noticed" if you get my meaning. The last thing I need is more attention on us. You are safe here, and I feel the secure knowing a Lathanderite is here on the watch." He looks at Onyx with a smile, then back to you Talion. "And yes, your beliefs are your own but your power...I can.....no, I apologize. It is none of my business and you have given your word to take Irek to safety. That is enough. But please, do not perform magic or arcane rituals in this house if I cannot know what they are. I am more tolerant than most here but I have my limits."
