Vlar frowns as the distance between the ships is widened by the rift in the water. He turns his attention to the closer-at-hand threat, sending a blast of fire off at the strange elf that just boarded the ship. "Well not exactly sure which battle you are part of, but maybe you should be paying a bit more attention to how things are actually going here..." he says with a grim smile that hsows lots of his sharp teeth. "Your crew is falling like leaves in a forest, and your admiral is too-scared to stay close... Best give up now and maybe you will live to become our prisoner..." With that said he sends a blast of flame at the elf, then moves to get behind some cover in case of a return ranged attack.
Fire Bolt Rolled in game log. To hit is an 18, damage is 15 fire.
The Far Elf with little effort side steps to avoid the Fire Bolt.
"I am The Archimandrite of the Iron Chain these are not even pawns as far as I care, I come for my compass, hand it over!" his voice seems to be unchanging.
Once more Varlan tries to repel border. He is not one for banter, nor is he well--suited to it. He runs up to the nearest sailor as another wave of force seek to throw them into the sea, then attacks the nearest.
1. Bonus action: Use telekinesis to throw recently arrived enemy overboard; DC 16 STR save, or be thrown 5' back (hopefully over the edge).
2. Movement: Move to nearest sailor (current one, if they resisted or did not go overboard)
3. Attacks:
Attack 1: 16 Damage: 8
Attack 2: 26 Damage: 13
If he can not get to someone to attack then he works on cutting ropes.
Jecob has a few words with Lilia, although he hasn't been on the ship long enough to learn her name yet. "Thanks for finishing off that Blackrift... I think the Far Elf was using that bolt to invite you to teach him some manners."
Jecob marches over to where the Far Elf is bellowing demands, and uses the censer to knock some sense into the elf.
Attack1: 20 Damage: 11
Attack2: 11 Damage: 18

After the first crossbow bolt hits, Mist's eyes go wide as he looks down at the shaft protruding from his torso. His mouth opens and closes several times, wordlessly, and he looks back up to the sailor who shot him. He barely manages to point an accusatory finger at his assailant and mutter a curse in Halfling before two more bolts strike in rapid succession and he falls to the deck of the enemy ship.
Reaction: Hellish rebuke DEX save DC 16 or take 27 fire damage, half on success
Massive flames engulf the first sailor just as two spears drive straight through Mist's limp form and into the planks beneath him, pinning his unconscious form. Black blood begins to cover the wood at the bow of the ship.
Varlan looks on in horror as the strange halfling falls under a hail of crossbow bolts, then turns as another raider seems to be about to arrive next to him, "It's not that easy, you know." A sense of wrongness falls upon the raider as they falter on the rope, trying to keep grip.
Reaction: Silvery Barbs: the raider needs to roll again, and take the lower roll. Valrlan also grants advantage to Mist on his next saving throw.

Now it's the "ocean's turn"
Around both ship rise broken teath, necrotic green lines them. Water flows in between them as the water around and in between the ships spin more, as the water level lowers. A necrotic green Mist come up from the center of the water, where there is no longer water but rather a black hole. You see as all the sailors start to get dizzy and fall, as your own eyes start to blur a bit as you see the Admiral stumble and fall over. The party starts to fall over 1 by 1 lowest to highest current HP. The last to fall sees The Far Elf start to stumble. Then darkness, absolute darkness. For as dark it is the silence is worse.
The silence fades first. You start to hear an organ playing. Then the darkness starts to fade but your not in light, well at least, as your use to it. This room has a low silvery light to it, but the most of the light you're getting is the necrotic green that you saw before but now in a glow. Your eyes finally open and your sitting in a seat, at a table. The table is set with cutlery and dishes of a mismatched nature, while some pieces are matching there is no cohesive sets, only thing they have in common is that they look dirty and not well cared for. But full of delicious looking food, and the challeces are filled with wine. Looking up you see 2 different chandeliers, made from different metals and styles, these are providing the silvery light. Then you notice the walls, if not for the walls the room would look like an ornate dinning chamber, but the walls. The walls are undead flesh and bone. Where you see the flesh rotting there is green necrotic light. Book shelves line most of the walls, along with the ordinary looking organ, ordinary except the stoppers and keys are made from bone, and Noone playing it, but other than that ordinary. At each end of the book shelves and the organ are Candle Sconces, also emitting magical silvery light.

Kraven pushes the table in front of him teetering his chair over and rolls backwards as he tries to fins a place to hide, holding an action to summon a dagger and throw it at the first threatening thing that appears.
Varlan watches Mist fall into darkness then struggles against the noxious fumes himself, finally succumbing to the currents that drag him down into the not-ocean. As the darkness consumes him he slips his goggles over his eyes, but all he sees is necrotic mist backed by the uttermost darkness. With his descent comes the silence, his ears strain for the slightest noise but all he can hear is his own heartbeat. He tries calling out, but there is no sound, no echo, nothing...
Eventually he comes back to his senses seated at a table, surrounded by death, "Am I dead?" he asks, giving voice to hist first thought.
He looks around the table and is relieved to see the dying halfling who now seems hale and hearty, sitting comfortably. He tenses when he sees the enemy, electricity coursing over his gloves. "It seems the numbers are now in our favour; though now may not be the time for grudges."
