Taking a moment as they enter Red feels the need to devulge and state the obvious "I'm not sure about you guys... but darkness? I'm not so good with.. but lighting up seems like a bad plan right now. " Red stows his orblets in a dark pocket to avoid giving himself away.
(ooc; Red does have torches as well. But he'd have to put his shield away (Free hand must hold his tools for spellcasting at this level) to hold it. For now he's relying on his allies-and in case of combat he can toss up a Bonfire but it would be GM Fiat for light given by it.)
((Let's say Create Bonfire illuminates as much as a Produce Flame does, which is a similar cantrip involving fire and also capable of dealing damage, so "The flame sheds bright light in a 10-foot radius and dim light for an additional 10 feet." Guess it makes sense, half of your usual illumination-dedicated cantrip and torches.))
As someone able to see at least for some distance, Mihris was moving ahead of the column to guide others. So far it looked as a straight corridor and with so meany footprints most likely not even trapped. Still, she tried to do her best to work with Mia on searching the danger.

The darkness doesn't bother Vanys in the slightest, but he notices Red's discomfort and places his hand on his friend's shoulder to guide him along the pathway as the group moves. While Mia and Mihris leading and searching for any dangers, Vanys kept his eyes much farther ahead, looking for branching passageways as he started to create a mental map of the tunnels in case they got lost and needed to get out quickly.

Mia's ears are twitching like rabbits as her brain busily reenacts the chase scene. "So… There were four groups involved in this chase. Five, if including us. This conspiracy is far more complicated than I thought!"
Across the stone bridge and entering the dark cave. Mia senses Red's uneasiness in the darkness. "Lig hting up isn't good maybe, being blind is definitely worse. Afraid not my friend. I'll tell you what's in front of us. And uses your awesome orb if we give a signal" Mia focuses on her eleven hearing. Putting one of her hands on the right side of the wall, starts walking forward.

((Oh! I'll adjust the map.))
As the group advances with tentative and freezingly numb steps on their wet boots, Vanys' shadowy senses kick in and enable his vision to reach much further into the dark cave. The tunnel opens up about 25 ft. ahead, into a larger echoey cave chamber which seems to have an opening in its ceiling due to the light snowfall, and is cut roughly in the middle by a deep crevasse from which comes a sound similar to the creek you crossed outside. The short tunnel to your right has rough carved steps on the stone floor, leading up to a flimsy wooden door, so ill-crafted and old that it shows signs of candlelight inside through the gaps of its boards.
The lack of snowfall in the tunnels allow for too many footprints back and forth and into the side tunnel for it to have an easily discernible pattern, though Mialee narrows her eyes at the ground for a few moments and is able to discern that both the blood drops and the bits of powder and herbs on the ground seem to lead further ahead, splitting directions after reaching the larger chamber, where the blood drops continue to the left and the powder trail turns to the right.
"…I think we should follow blood drops. If they're good people, they need help. If they're bad guys, it will be our chance." Mia whispers to the others after explaining what she has just found. "But we have to check the room on the right first. I don't wanna be a rabbit who finds it caught between wolves. Now who's good at hide and seek? "
(OOC: For whom volunteer for scout roll, Mia will give them Guidance. Please add D4 to your stealth check. If no one volunteers then Mia will do the peeping. DM, I assume Mask of the Wild would give my character advantage in our current environment.)
((Mihris can share the burden of giving the guidance.))
"I would not call myself the best in it," the time was dark in every meaning of the word but she accepted Mia's joke, "but the trail should be easy to follow. I can go first." The priestess looked for the traces of blood or other signs of those they follow went here.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Vanys says quietly, "I am usually quite talented at staying quiet, but someone will need to stay and help guide Red if I go ahead." If someone volunteers to guide Red, Vanys will accept the guidance of either Mihris or Mia and slip quietly to the door along the right passageway and peers through the gaps in the door boards.
Vanys creeps ahead deeper into the tunnel and eventually treads into the larger chamber. Snow falls from a hole in the somewhat domed ceiling of this more natural-looking cavern, its irregular walls contrasting with the dug rock tunnel you crossed. You spot several other tunnels in this chamber, along with the Y-shaped crevasse that crosses it down the middle. The creek still flows from the northeast down into this chamber, though one it seemed to flow in two directions from here, though its northwestern arm lies frozen while the one heading southeast still flows and probably rounds back west further down and is the same one you crossed at the entrance.
Rounding the large chamber's walls clockwise, Vanys is able to see several small tunnels on the walls, one which has small carved steps leading up to it, to the northwest of his position. Near this tunnel, an old suspension bridge makes one of the ways across the creek, and the frozen arm of the river 20 ft. below it has a northern tunnel through which it used to flow, and dim distant fading light from outside can barely be seen coming from it. To the northeast there is a somewhat flat wall and then a tall tunnel that goes all the way down to the creek, and to its side a 10 ft. tall stony ledge with carved steps on its right end, over the ledge there is also a tunnel on the wall leading deeper inside. To Vanys' right there is a similar suspension bridge crossing the creek, the tunnel through which the water flows outside, and then on the wall almost on his back another set of carved steps leading to a tunnel entrance.
On the ground, your shadowy vision helps you spot the trails you've been following before. The blood drops can be seen heading all the way towards the steps on the northwest, and bits of the scattered powders and herbs can be seen over the bridge closer to you (southeast) and beyond it heading to the ledge steps.
(Poor red is pretty decent; though armour disadvantage negates that a bit. As well as blindness~ That's quite the big map with multiple trails and some dangerous ambush spots~)
(OOC: I think the intention was to creep down the side hallway and look in through that door first, but no harm done.)
Vanys quickly retreats back down the tunnel and reports his findings back to the group. "Both the trail of blood and herbs continue on in the tunnel ahead and into that chamber." He describes the chamber to the others before he points to the herbs and powders that lead off the earlier side passageway and says, "I don't know if it is the same herbs, or if it's other herbs that were perhaps left by another person or group. Either way, I think that we should check this side tunnel before we continue on into the main chamber. There are way too many pathways in there, and once we go in, we do not want to get cut off from our only exit."

"Sounds reasonable,"agreed Mihris but had to add "unless those bleeding need help urgently. Not that they expect any help, of course, but ..."She did not say "since we are already here and able to help" - that was obvious. Should the group decide to first explore the side tunnel, she will follow (with Red in tow)
Mia sits in silent thought. A few seconds later, she says. "I want to help the injured as much as you,Miri. But we can't afford to leave a risk of being ambushed. Let's check that room" Mia will support Van with her Guidance and stays at the bottom of stairs in case someone inside the room attacks the Half Elf.
(OOC: I think the intention was to creep down the side hallway and look in through that door first, but no harm done.)
((Oops! Sorry, let me do that now then.))
Vanys returns and whispers a report of the chamber to his companions. As they nod and whisper back their thoughts, the silence eventually reveals the fact that their shadowy companion is no longer there. Looking to the sides confusedly, they eventually spot the deeper humanoid-shaped shadow creeping forward towards the door on the side tunnel. The sorcerer is able to spot a few things inside through the gaps of the boards, among bits for scattered gear a candle burns attached to a natural column at the center of the chamber, bathing most of the room in dim light as several robed humanoid figures sit, they whisper comments among themselves, seemingly targeted at the standing small figure at the other side of the room, a goblin garbed in furs and caressing a wolf at his side. Behind the humanoid figures there is also a large wooden bars cell with what seems like a wounded tabaxi prisoner laying down inside. As Vanys takes in all he is seeing, the wolf seems to rise his snout and start sniffing the air coming from the door.
As soon as the wolf raises its snout, Vanys begins to creep back away from the door silently before running back towards the group as quietly as possible and sending a message to the others, as he runs. "Several robed figures in the room, including a goblin, a wolf, and a tabaxi prisoner."

"That's quite a lot injust one room." Mia frowns at the message. "We can't leave them behind. I like my bum and don't want them bitten by the wolf. We have an element of surprise, I see no reason not to use it"The druid girl puts her hand into the porch and grasps her loyal little friends.
