This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Tundra:
Ramal darts out and scrambles up onto the ice to cover behind the spikes.
Ja peaks past Paren and calls out to Shmitty or at least to the edge of Shmitty's cloak, as he can hardly see his position. "For some kind of Assassin you sure do miss a lot!" His Vicious Mockery cuts deep for 3 psychic. (Wis save. DC 13)
Paren marks Shmitty and fires an arrow. His target benefits from 3/4 cover. It's a nearly impossible shot... But his aim is truly inspired. The arrow punches through Shmitty's armor and he has time to look down at the shaft before he collapses. (Casting Hunter's Mark will use your Bonus. You'll be able to move it on your next turn. The arrow hits even without advantage.)
(I'm saying I should not even be able to be targeted. 3/4s if me a behind a wall my height, 1/2 is a crate. With a 7 ft wall in a trench at least 30 ft away casters shouldn't have LOS)
This is my ruling for consistency in the public notes:
"When intending to use effective cover your opponent will need to be able to see the center of your space from the center of theirs to have visibility (line of sight) with 3/4 cover if you do not attack and approach from behind cover. Otherwise any visibility (from any part of your square to any part of their square) will give line of sight with applicable cover."
He can target a part of your location from his location. If you had not attacked on your previous turn you would have total cover.
"He can target a part of your location from his location. If you had not attacked on your previous turn you would have total cover."
(How does me attacking shorten the height of a wall. Sure he knows where I am. In a trench 7ft deep which would account for magic I guess, but not a strait shot. He did not have line of sight. That shot is impossible)
(It's not the height it's the width. The space is only 5 feet wide. Your square is also 5 feet wide he can target your square along the trench. If I'd rule differently I'd say "You can't target him from your current location you'd have to move to M-11" but the result wouldn't change. Probably tactically better to split up though if you're suggesting it.)
(As for what attacking has to do with it. When I wrote that ruling my intent was not only to clarify when Klong could target an opponent with a spell that required sight, but also to prevent someone utilizing total cover while still being able to attack. You have to expose yourself to attack.)
Ramal will move to C6
Paren moves to M11 and cast Hunters Mark on Smitty before letting his arrow fly.

Colossus Slayer: 7
Bardic Inspiration: 4 added to Attack roll.
If Smitty goes down Paren will move his hunters Mark to Ramal

I just use the first roll of the two (which was 15+2) I just didn't know what gave you the advantage.
(By the way: Sharpshooter boost, risky? Bold? Foolish? I guess inspiration helps.)
