OOC: Midnight, grab a flask of Alchemist’s Fire too!
”Oh wow oh wow….” Toots mutters as she rapidly conjure a minor illusion of the door Tommary’s working on in between them and the basilisk as a way to hide from it. Knowing it’s an illusion, the party should be able to see through it to keep an eye on the monstrosity.
Tommary the Unworthy is so squared away with his gear no one noticed the Alchemist Fire flask he secreted away with all the other flasks and vials he pulled to add to his collection of flasks and vials. It's not even funny how consummately professional he is about always having something combustible about him deployable in seconds no matter how he's positioned.
OOC: took physical notes will adjust inventory later.
The basilisk shakes its head and sneezes. It comes to its feet and looks about and starts to explore the viny (viney? vinie?) cave. It does not appear that it has noticed the party.

"............anybody got any potatoes? We could drop a potato in each hole an' see which ones get viciously mauled by horrible monsters?"
OOC: Ilyara didn't take much large, though the climber's kit might've been bulky enough to require two hands. Elsewise she took human-sized armor she likely had to maneuver with two hands and likely helped Toots put some of the bulkier things in the Portable Hole, including apparently a ten-foot ladder that definitely needed wrangling.
OOC: We can skip the ladder if need be, I just figured I might come in handy in case of another situation like the slippery room of death and dismemberment.

When Ilyara touches the climbing gear with her left hand, her skeletal digits cause the ropes and buckles to quickly degrade and fall to dust.

"............anybody got any potatoes? We could drop a potato in each hole an' see which ones get viciously mauled by horrible monsters?"
OOC: Backpedaling a bit to when we were looting, before the basilisk woke up:
"............................okay what." Ilyara immediately stops grabbing things, letting the others finish packing items up whilst keeping her withered left hand away from everything. "Don't like that. Don't like that at all," she mutters to herself, staring at the ruined climbing kit. "Guys, this hand thing has just gone from 'worrisome puzzle' t' serious problem. Th' hell happened to my hand?"
Batman trumpet-wobble sound to present.
Ilyara abandoned her position by the leftmost door and scurried over to where Tallboots and the others were fiddling with the rightmost, keeping quiet as the big beastie stirred behind them. She didn't speak, but her eyes spoke volumes of her desire to not be turned into stone and left to be sorted by robot men.
Tommary the Unworthy of this Splurge hustles back into the room after retrieving a card cloning system, a M25 plasma rifle in 40 watt range, spear, abacus, vial of acid, 20 arrows, ink, oil, tinderbox, reliquary, perfume, robes, merchant scale, hunting trap and vial of poison. Using gestural languages and indexing with his new sharp walking stick, Tommary manages to avail himself of Toots' portable hole while signaling Toots needs to turn around to keep eyes on the stirring Basilisk. Then, Tommary deposits the abacus, robes, merchant scale and hunting trap into the portable hole, and then uses the ink to form a similar inky black circle next to the portable hole. When his masterpiece is complete, Tommary clears his throat for Toots to turn around, and then gestures to the two inky black circles with a Jeff Goldbloom-esque "ta-da!" gesture.
He then scurries the door way separating them from the basilisk and tries the interior slot with his tile to see if it will secure the door.
“I don’t know what we’re gonna do about your hand Ily, but it might come in ‘handy.’ Maybe you can use it on monsters, or to get through walls or something. Who knows? Hey Tom’ry, why’d you draw that picture of a second hole?”
The golem constructs begin to move about again selecting another glass container. This one seems to contain boards or slats and folded canvas.
They pick it up and begin moving it towards the exit. You notice that a secreted arm in the belly of one of them opens up and extends a brown tile towards the door and opens it.

OOC: I'm a little spatially confused. This techno complex, we've gone in , we've so far gone "in" to two rooms (not sure how far if we've really crossed into 2. Room 1 is where we entered a sort of lobby, Room 2 is the puzzle Tetris palace of cylinders being attended to by mechanicals. The mechanical deposited the basilisk and the gear drop lacking true game changers like a phase plasma rifle in 40 watt range outside Room 1. That outside I'll call the Jack Patch instead of Basilisk's rest. We've looted the gear drop. Tommary's closed the door between Room 1 and the Jack Patch, which is also where Toots cast minor illusion of a door. We're all now basically standing in the door frame between rooms 1 and 2, giving space for the mechanicals who are apparently still making deliveries to the Jack Patch? Are they leaving the door open?
IC: "So I'm thinking maybe we go further in with the tile I got? Or do we want to get another one from one of these spark folk? I don't know how willing they'll just give them up. Anyway, I think maybe if we go further in this place we can find something that might help Illy's arm's evidently severe allergic reaction to her bandaging. Probably the mummy dust envelope I used as a compression bandage."

Question, which large items did Ilyara handle? Ones that might require two hands?
