Virjor opens the door east and steps into the room beyond, Carric just behind him and Thirteen & Max following up.
The floor of this room is covered with shards of glass, frozen pools of spilled fluids, and the wreckage of two cabinets. In a niche in the far corner of the room, a metal chest is bolted to the ceiling. Its lid is locked, the only reason it hasn't swung open and released whatever might be held inside.
“Hmm, I wonder if our key would fit that chest up there?” wonders Max aloud. “I’m willing to try if someone can boost me up there and someone is ready to catch what May fall out”
Max balances precariously on Carric's shoulders as Thirteen and Virjor look on. The rogue just about manages to reach the lock with the key in his outstretched fingers, clicking into place and turning with a satisfying 'clunk'.
As soon as the lock is opened, the lid of the upside-down chest falls open and the contents spill out. Four glass vials, each containing a different coloured liquid, hurtle towards the hard ceiling below.
(Everyone make a DEX save to try to catch a vial each please)
Despite his trip, Virjor just manages to catch one of the vials. Max and Lucius catch one each, but the fourth vial hits the ground and smashes, spraying bright yellow liquid and glass fragments across the room.
The three saved potions turn out out to be potions of resistance - one each of acid, cold and fire.
With nothing else of interest here, you go back to the corridor and inspect the south door. It opens easily and leads into a room where tall bookshelves affixed to the outer wall have spilled their contents onto the ceiling-turned-floor. A large table lies on its side, one leg broken. A five-foot-wide tunnel in the floor to the east leads down.

Thirteen looks a little bit disappointed in himself, clearly not paying attention whilst the chest of vials was opened up above.
He heads over to the mouth of the tunnel and hangs his torch as low as possible, to try and see how far it extends. And he waits to lead the route down once everyone is ready.
Being careful not to ignite any of the scattered books, Thirteen tries to look down into the hole.
It seems to be a tunnel downwards, which would take you closer to the top of this upside-down structure. The warforged can see that there is a room down the short tunnel, but no detail beyond that due to the angle and the thick floor (ceiling) on which you stand. You will require a rope or magic to descend the twelve feet to the next floor safely.

With Max on his shoulders, Carric is unable to catch the fourth vial. ((OOC: Sorry for not being around to do that!))
Upon the discovery of a passage downward toward the "top" of the structure, Carric peers into the tunnel. He looks over his shoulder at the others. "Can one of you take a rope out in case I need to scramble back up in a hurry?" he asks.
He waits until a rope is out and then steps over the edge, lightly touching the side of the tunnel to guide himself as gravity does its work. He lands lightly on his feet, goes into a ready crouch and looks around the room quickly for any signs of danger (or interest).
Slow Fall reduces falling damage by 25 HP so he should be fine w/12 feet. Perception 10

Max smiles as he catches one of the vials and does a little bow. He then offers to take his rope out of his pack to help the others climb down. "Happy to help out since it looks like it won't be as much fun as the slide earlier" he winks.
Virjor peers around Thirteen, looks down the hole, an announces proudly: "Anyone need a Hand?", and chuckles at his clever joke.
Virjor then strikes up a torch and a Mage Hand appears to taking the torch and gliding down the tunnel illuminating the area for Carric. "Is it safe, my good man?" he calls.
Carric drops into the room silently and looks around the room, illumination offered by magical torches attached to the walls and Virjor's floating hand. The room contains two metal cages, both badly damaged. Nearby, a roughly dug tunnel in the floor leads downwards. Narrow windows along the bowed outer wall afford the monk a glimpse of the earth into which this structure has impaled itself.
Doors in the north and east walls are closed.
As Carric finishes his keen-eyed sweep, Max's rope drops to the floor, offering a route back up if needed.
Carric stands near the end of the rope and calls up quietly. "This room seems safe enough,"he says in response to Virjor's question. "Two closed doors and a tunnel headed downward." He stands by, ready to draw his weapon if needed, and waits for the others to join him.
Virjor tries his best to look dignified as he shimmies down the rope. Lucius simply drops down with his feline dexterity, immediately looking around the new area.

Carric nods and offers assistance to Max, doing his best to boost him up, looking to the larger Thirteen for aid, as Carric is small for a wood elf.
"Thanks, Carric!" says Max. Reaching as far as his halfling arms will let him, and eyes squinting just a bit, Max aims to turn the key in the lock.

With his free hand and perched on Carric, Max tries to catch one of the vials.
DEX: 6
Spotting the contents drop, Virjor leaps to catch the vials. Unfortunately he is hampered by his thick robes...
DEX: 11
Luckily Lucius is more graceful and moves quickly across the ground to catch one in his mouth.
DEX: 14
(Any more takers? I'll give it a short wait and then assume all attempts are posted)

At hearing that it is safe below, Max hops on the rope and climbs downward. He takes out his trusty crossbow just in case.
