He looks sad at the mention of his possessions “No, they are probably shared amongst the goblins by now. I know that they were taken under mean circumstances, but I do hope that they serve their new owners well”
Erky weighs up the options and comes to a conclusion “I think I will head to the surface, thank you for the directions”
(OOC: Notian was told these names back in post #11)
Eerie walks over to him, glasps his hands in hers and wishes him well in Gnomish and asks him. "Would you take my poor little squirrel with you? At least to the outside, this is no place for him." She says looking thoughtful at the little pet and chittering her intent to it.
She passes him one of the Jade statuettes when glasping his hands. - In Gnomish says "I hope to see you again in my travels and may this help you when you get to town." Estimated value at 15g as 4 were worth 60g.
Erky looks at you in a mix of surprise and gratitude.
@Eerie:
"Thank you so much! I already owed you so much, now that debt has grown and I will be only too happy to repay it when I get the chance. I shall head to town to recover, and if I do not see you there then I shall ask every bard on my travels for news from the Sunless Citadel"
Erky looks around the group with a smile and bows deeply in appreciation before turning on his heels and darting off, keen to escape this place.
"Erky we heard of another party of adventurers that delved into the Sunless Citadel a month past but were never seen again. Two humans, Talgen and Sharwyn Hucrele. The matriarch of their family, asked us for their safe return. Or at least proof of their fate...
They were accompanied by a paladin of Lathander called Sir Braford and a ranger called Karakas, have you seen any of them or know where they may be?"
13 barges through through the door followed closely by Carric who soon falls into line beside him. Notian, Eerie and Meepo are close behind.
You find yourselves in a chamber whose north and south walls are stacked halfway to the ceiling with ill-made barrels, boxes, and crates. A clear path allows easy access between the west and east doors.
Eerie visually inspects the boxes and barrels as they pass looking for an idea of what they may contain as well as for anything that may be hiding among them. perception12
“Darnit! No bad guys in here... I would have totally murdered all of them, boom !uppercut, whack! Drop kick...they wouldn’t have stood a chance.” Notian confidently demonstrates his moves as he describes them.
You step through the west door and into a long room, 55ft long by 20ft wide. Several torches mounted in crude sconces burn fitfully around this chamber, filling the air with a haze. A double row of marble columns carved with entwining dragons runs the length of the hall. Three doors on the north wall stand evenly spaced, with a single door at the western end and another in the southwest corner.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Carric nods at Eerie's words. Almost gliding along in his nimble elven way, he skirts along the three doors on the north wall before coming to the door on the west end. He stoops and listens at it.
Gliding along the north wall you hear crashing and a low, purring-like noise coming from the first door. From the second and third (where you finish), there is nothing. However, from the western door you hear a great deal of commotion, as if a whole village were holding a meeting.

(Where to next?)
"Erky we heard of another party of adventurers that delved into the Sunless Citadel a month past but were never seen again. Two humans, Talgen and Sharwyn Hucrele. The matriarch of their family, asked us for their safe return. Or at least proof of their fate...

(Erky has gone; he said all he knows about the adventurers in post 415)
After standing motionless for some time, 13 steps back and sweeps his sword back and forward a couple of times.
He turns to the group, "Let's go bleed some goblins and find this apple farmer"
With that, he turns towards the northwest door, strides up to it and shoulders his way through..
Ready to move quickly if need be, Carric stands just to 13's side as he pushes through the door.
13 barges through through the door followed closely by Carric who soon falls into line beside him. Notian, Eerie and Meepo are close behind.

As others look at the contents of the room, Carric steps up to check the next door to see if there might be any traps and/or if it is locked.
Perception 12
Searching the room reveals only crates and debris; nothing of interest or bearing any threat.
Eerie moves with the group forward to the door watching Carric as he searches it for traps and locks.
13 follows closely, clearly disappointed with the cleanliness of his greatsword
“Darnit! No bad guys in here... I would have totally murdered all of them, boom !uppercut, whack! Drop kick...they wouldn’t have stood a chance.” Notian confidently demonstrates his moves as he describes them.
Eerie let’s out an abrupt giggle, then caps her mouth. “I’m sure you’ll have your chance.”
“This looks very familiar.” Eerie says.
Carric nods at Eerie's words. Almost gliding along in his nimble elven way, he skirts along the three doors on the north wall before coming to the door on the west end. He stoops and listens at it.
