So here is my question. How can my PC's gain Legendary actions? We are moving into epic wars with God's. Boons are okay, but just not tge same as legendary. I feel like, as they conquer the Pantheon of God's. Why not gain the same abilities. You know, Highlander power absorption shit lol. Best reference material to help make the builds?
The purpose of legendary actions is to allow single creatures to compete with parties of PC in terms of action economy. Unless your character is going solo against 4-6 enemies of significant power, there’s no gameplay purpose to giving them legendary actions.
Seriously, the point of legendary actions is not “whoah, this monster is powerful and cool!” It’s purely to balance out the action economy.
More simply from a RAW perspective, there just is no way for PC's to normally gain Legendary Actions, through Boons or otherwise, no matter what purpose you may feel that legendary actions serve. However, True Polymorph might let you use the Legendary Actions of another creature that you are transformed into, if they have them, because it doesn't include the same legendary-stripping language that Wild Shape does. If you can find a critter of a CR your level or lower with a useful Legendary Action... go for it?
If you or your DM are interested in having special actions available to your character off-turn generally, a magic item that provides a powerful ability using your Reaction would be a good start. A special homebrew Feat that provides a special action as a Reaction is another option, and Feats can be handed out as Boons, though that's probably less balanced since it's less able to be limited by your competing attunement, body/hand slots, etc. Abilities, from Magic Items or otherwise, that do something off-turn without a Reaction are exceedingly rare, and probably not a good idea at all to try to homebrew.

This is not the case, or at least it has not been for years (I believe the MM received an errata a few years ago) The general rule is:
If a creature assumes the form of a legendary creature, such as through a spell, it doesn’t gain that form’s legendary actions, lair actions, or regional effects.

I'm going to make this way harder than it needs to be.

You do still gain legendary resistances, however.
Source? Because the spell doesn’t say that... is that in MM Intro? Ah... yep, hidden in there at https://www.dndbeyond.com/sources/mm/introduction#LegendaryCreatures
I hate hiding player rules in DM sourcebooks 😂
