The spirits don’t like salt, a ring of salt is said to protect against most spirits and salt is much more valuable. Charcoal can also be used to a lesser effect as well as ash
most spirits respect boundaries like the salt and ash, and as long as they are calm they wouldn’t bother you. Blood excites the more wild spirits and in some cases be used to Summon and bind them. Rings of flowers/mushrooms calm most spirits.
cool
some people are inspired by the spirits of the world, others enter pacts with them. These people harness the power of the spirits indirectly.
Seems cool, but you forgot to limit the power of the Nature Spirit's first-level feature. They could conceivably choose foresight and cast it once per day because of how the ability is worded.

RIP IN REALITY
This does not really conflict with anything but you know A RIP IN REALITY is both extreme and cliche.
It’s fine, portal = rip in reality = planner gate. The name doesn’t mater. I’ll give that a portal to Uchir'na is a bit extreme but it’s still a worth addition

Windswept’s top engineer, Paltisa Rae, has had a breakthrough in the Wind Skimmers — a design so fast that it can send someone from Windswept directly into the Storm’s Eye in ten minutes, but it would sustain such intense damage that only the most zealous of the followers of Uralter might even attempt the journey to the mysterious center of the Storm. She’s looking for test flight subjects.

A halfling thief named Dilenos Quickfoot once stole an inconsequential trinket from the ancient green dragon, Malgastrix. Being as cunning as green dragons usually are, Malgastrix applauded Dilenos’ bravery and wits by which he stole the trinket and challenged him to a wager. If Dilenos could evade him for a year, Malgastrix would grant him the crown jewel of his hoard: an artifact which grants its holder the ability to control spirits of any kind. Malgastrix hunted Dilenos for the entirety of the year, but Dilenos was also cunning. He hid underground in the city of Mousehammer, where Malgastrix could not find him, as the dragon was too large to fit into any of the entrances to the Underdark and could not burrow. True to his word, Malgastrix begrudgingly gave the artifact to Dilenos, but the artifact had a curse. Dilenos’ bloodline was cursed so that all green dragons specifically are compelled to be aggressive towards him and his descendants. Over time, Dilenos’ bloodline was also altered, giving them an unnatural resilience against green dragons and their breath. Thus, stout halflings.
The Tomb of Kings is a legendary dungeon that houses the bodies and riches of the long-dead kings of Kalaa. The Tomb was originally guarded by a thousand elite guards, but when the supply carts stopped coming they all left in search of food or died of starvation. This has led many an enterprising thief to try their luck and brave the traps in the hopes of claiming the treasure, but those lucky few who have reached the grand vault have been killed by the adult bronze dragon guardian.
Edit: I haven't checked here in a while, really cool map! I added the Tomb of Kings to it. Great creations and a few new faces!
In the Inheritance series, spirits are not mortal souls after death but completely different beings, not really made out of matter or a totally physical body. They weren’t just able to perform feats of magic but were part of it. The one place I think we should deviate from that idea is the fact that the spirits couldn’t talk.
Back to the “mortal death” thing, I don’t think that they should become spirits (unless they are Spiraca) as stated above. I say Spiraca should be different because they are directly descended from spirits, so it’s like their souls are returning to their origins after death. Other mortals, however, I think should go to some Plane of the afterlife. What should it be like?
(this is a worldbuilding post, not continuing the disscussion)
After the apocalypse, binding spirits has become one of the greatest magical taboos. While the binding of weak spirits is fairly safe and can be extremely helpful, many people remember all too well how the binding of spirits caused the apocalypse, and thus even the binding of weak spirits is banned in most settlements.
However, there is one group of spellcasters that call themselves "The Intercity Alliance of Librarians & Loremasters". While they do keep small libraries in the larger settlements, the real purpose of the group is to provide a safe space for the summoning and binding of spirits. These bound spirits help out the casters and their communities in a variety of ways. Some examples are fire spirits that let candles burn perpetually, water spirits that keep rivers free of muck, and fiendish spirits that add power to hunter's weapons.
