I wanna do something fun and I wanna know if I can.
I was looking up some big monsters for D&D and came across Tiamat. After reading a bit ( and finding out she has a level 8 & 9 spell as a cantrip, Jesus Christ) I saw in her condition immunity section, there isn’t prone. Of course she has a plus 19 or something on strength saving throws but still, there is always critical fails. Cut to a few days later, in the mastiff description, it says if the creature is attacked by the dog and fails a DC 11 strength save, it is knocked prone, there is NO INDICATION OF SIZE.
So if, theoretically, I bring my trusty 101 mastiffs to the Tiamat boss battle, there is a chance they can knock her prone... right? This is really silly and I’m expecting feedback to be ‘haha. No.’ But I still wanna see if I could, with a puppy, bring a 7 headed CR 30 god of destruction on its knees.
By using bane, mind sliver, and similar spells and abilities, you could make it possible. But it's unlikely.

Nat 1s don't fail saves, only attack rolls.
I have a weird sense of humor.
I also make maps.(That's a link)
Well that’s... disappointing
It prevents the Seduce the Dragon effect, if people don't stop reading at critical hits.
