The title says it all, and to kick off this stream, I would like to share TWO of mine.
This one is Less OP than the other, but he is a kobold fighter....... who has a Rod of Lordly Might....... at level 3. It is part of his backstory however: he was a kind king who was ousted from the throne by a jealous brother. A passing dragon took pity, and gave him the rod as something that might help reclaim his throne. He also has a Sentinel Shield, which may not seem OP, but the advantage it gives nullifies King Kennens Sunlight Sensitivity disadvantage.
The second one is Lillian DeGrand, a human master thief who managed to save a genie who was so grateful, he promised NO UNFORSEEN OR FORSEEN CONSEQUENCES. You all can see where this is going..... I am talking about a score of 30 for all stats, tons of feats, and at least 1/2 proficiency in all skills. She also has Gloves of Thievery equipped, and expertise in Sleight of hand, and that adds up to a +27 bonus in sleight of hand. I am pretty sure if I rolled a crit on a sleight of hand check, I would steal everything off of the poor dupe, including his soul, and the guy would not know he has been robbed and is now in his birthday suit for a week or even a month. She is level 20 as well.
My most op character is probably my level 10 Tiefling Warlock, Lucius. He is basically just a nerdy bookish edgelord like me obsessed with demons and forbidden knowledge.
i introduce to you zenlos swift gear time line one
i stopped playing them soon after they reached level 8 when the dm gave a single use plane shift magic item (comes free with return trip) and i used it to time travel so that character is now a very powerful interdimesional time-traveler who i used as the patron of one campaign and am using as the villain of another
Noooope, totally not Big Chungus, nooooope, nuh-uh.
In all seriousness, Lvl 12 Astral Self Monk with a Tome of wisdom. Twice per turn, his target had to make a DC 16 CON save or be stunned, skipping its next turn. The BBEG literally never attacked once, and died in three rounds.

My most recent OP character is "Brash Tale", a rogue tabaxi that is adventuring through Icewind Dale with a goddam TINDERSTRIKE (looted from those small adventurers that were released during Celebration 2020 event). He's a hopeless thief and charlatan who tries to make a con out of any daily situation; Dressed as a "courier", he promised to deliver the dagger and instead he ended up borrowing it... :) One time, he burned a goblin wagon with the dagger, moved by the instincts of Imix of course (>3), and called it "pest control". Later we took that wagon and made it into our wandering office of inspectors, that he obviously uses as another way to get to people and convince them that he's the saviour of the North, just so he can rob everybody and ultimately escape to Waterdeep.

Borrowing it as it "Marisa Kirsame" borrowing it? ;)
My Human Druid of the Circle of the Forest. Normally, druids aren't too overpowered. But I have items and feats, homebrewed stuff. I have The Doctor: d100 roll (above 50 means double heals) plus 3-5 potions that give my friends more ac, more attacks, or more temp hp. I have the Ring of Expanded healing so i can roll twice my heals and add them up. My most amazing heal spell was a Mass Cure Wounds at level 9, everyone has about 120-100 hp depending on class. I healed everyone for 84 hp. During a boss fight. I also have a ring of bonus spell and a sword that gives me even more healing spells....I am literally the Goddess of Medicine/Healing.
I had a Winged Tiefling Arcane Trickster/Bladesinger that just tore stuff up, while being the next best thing to untouchable with Bladesong and stealth. She had incredible mobility and used a whip for reach and extra survivability. She routinely had 2-3 sneak attacks per round with Haste and Sentinel, and used Shadow Blade in between. If we had been playing with Tasha's rules with a cantrip on extra attack, it would have been insane. Out of combat she had plenty of options too. With her Rogue skills, expertise, souped up mage hand, spell casting and innate flight, there was always something interesting to try.
Plays as Tjar the human Echo Knight who left from the Kryn Dynasty to see the wider world, he now deals like 50-60 damage per attack with his action surge, the party is facing monsters 1-2 challenge ratings higher than the party.

Beginning at 1st level, you know how to strike subtly and exploit a foe's distraction. Once per turn, you can deal an extra 1d6 damage to one creature you hit with an Attack if you have advantage on the Attack roll. The Attack must use a Finesse or a ranged weapon. (emphasis mine)
of course you are op if you are getting multiple sneak attacks per turn. sneak attack is once per turn for this reason. anyone who ignores certain rules will be op.

This Mug immediately shared with me a transcendental tale of an Infinite Mug that anchors the Universe and keeps it from folding in on itself. I filed this report under "illogical nonsense" and asked why its sign is in Times New Roman font, when it is basic knowledge that Arial Black is a far superior font. I wondered: How did this mug even get past the assembly line with its theistic beliefs and poor font choices?

No, it's rules legal both in the RAW and RAI sense. You may sneak attack once per turn, not round. You can use Haste to Sneak Attack and then hold your action to the next turn and Sneak Attack again. Also with something like Sentinel or Warcaster, you can get a Sneak Attack on your reaction, in another turn. This is fairly well known and you can Google it if you want verification.
I would like to revive this thread by posting another character of mine: Claire. This Boros Legion captain is a Level 20 Oath of Devotion Paladin. While that sounds like nothing too special, She has a Holy defender longsword, Mizzium Plate Amor with a +3 bonus to AC, and +3 shield, the defense fighting style, a ring of protection, and the Blessing of Protection. That gives her an ACC of 29. She also has her CON, STR, and CHA raised to 30, multiple feats, and a few boons (I use the boon advancement rules described in the DMG). With all these bonuses and more, she has 404 HP, a DC 27 spell save DC (thanks to an amulet of the devout +3) 30 spells, and even some Martial Inept maneuvers. She plans to use future EXP gain for increasing the rest of her stats (prioritizing DEX), as well as some new feats.

If you're counting ones made for a PvP battle, then I think it would be my high elf wizard 18/fighter 2, Starsunder Voidwind. Using a bunch of magic items, he got his spell save DC up to around 27, and took reverse gravity and prismatic wall as two of his spells. With action surge... pretty much anyone dies in a single turn. For those who had a high DEX save, he also had various other powerful spells, which covered every other ability score for saving throws.
If you're not counting PvP ones, then it might be my Human Divination Wizard, Xhandras, for the simple fact that he was a 20th level divination wizard.

I’m pretty sure my bets character ever was Umbra the level 20 Drow assassin. They never rolled below like a 25 on a skill check, used cunning action to hide and get a sneak attack every turn and just absolutely decimated the opposition. I didn’t even minmax them or get incredible magic items, high level rogues are just epic.
