so im start in a new cos game starting sometime next month
and I'm trying to think of an idea to play him I was first thinking of a cowboy like John Marston(red dead)
but also I maybe go warlock1/bard x and have a violin player losing a bet with to a Fiend. I don't know how I would add an Eldritch Blast as a gun to this
Easy, your Arcane Focus or more like dedicated "Spell Focus" for Eldritch Blast is a gun-like contraption. Which would also be funny leveling up, changing from one, to two, to three barrels.
You may want to take a peek at Percy from Vox Machina. As a character he's exactly what you describe and can be a handy reference for others at the table to get the notion of what you are doing:
Obviously you'll have a different character background, but Percy's well known so having that reference will help identify how your character isn't Percy but has an equally viable background.
