Deep within the vast expanse of the Astral Space system lies a planet of great intrigue - 4390-U. This planet is a fascinating mix of ocean and land, with brown water making up 30% of its surface area, and rolling dusty hills and towering sandstone mountains covering the remaining 70%. What truly sets 4390-U apart, however, is its abundant mineral resources. This planet is a veritable treasure trove of precious metals such as iron, copper, silver, and magnesium, making it a mining capital of immense importance. The very ground beneath your feet glitters with the promise of untold riches waiting to be uncovered.
The individuals who frequent this place are usually at the end of their financial rope, desperate for any means of obtaining money. They come here as a final resort as if this is their last opportunity to make ends meet.
The mining company is commanded by a race of beings known as Overseers, who are characterized by their exceptional intelligence and their unwavering devotion to accumulating wealth and valuable items. These creatures stand at an immense height, towering at least 8 or 9 feet above the ground, while weighing surprisingly little, less than 50 lbs. They have a striking appearance, with their pale grey skin adorned with white designs that resemble intricate mechanical parts. Their arms are impressively large, about twice the size of their legs, and they possess three fingers on each hand. Between their fingers and ears, they have fins that give them a unique and otherworldly look. Their wavy hair is typically tied back in a bun, and their large eyes are adapted for both underwater and above-water vision. Each Overseer has a distinctive coloration that sets them apart from one another, making them easily recognizable even from afar.
This planet is governed by eight Overseers, each with a unique set of responsibilities:
Red Overseer is in charge of the workers and his violent temper is well-known among the populace.
Orange Overseer oversees the banks and loan services, and his shrewd and manipulative nature often earns him the ire of the workers.
Yellow Overseer is responsible for the television and radio channels, where he frequently tries to promote products to the workers in a loud and flashy manner.
Green Overseer is the production chief who creates the goods that Yellow Overseer advertises. He is a quiet and reserved individual but his work is highly destructive, as he also manufactures the weapons that are used to protect the workers.
Blue Overseer works as an HR officer and is known for his kind demeanor, but he is also a deceitful character who is always looking out for his interests.
Finally, there is Purple Overseer, the medical officer, who produces and sells medicine for the workers. He is a disciplined and methodical individual who is also known to have sadistic tendencies.
Together, these Overseers control the planet and its inhabitants, each with their unique personalities and methods of governance.
The two other Overseer's are arent as well known as the rest and tend to hide from workers sight.

"Forgive the mess, I am trying to regain my sanity again."
Agreed. I see a mining-centric world setting, and a business-first, oligarchic governmental style made up of seemingly non-native race. I see possibilities within a setting like this, but no actual game to play.
The game? You just got to get creative. The players work for a small branch of the company, on a insignificant peninsula riddled with danger, the seventh overseer knows there is an ancient ruin here, but doesn't want to draw attention to it, so the players are sent for a survey mission. The players, using a subterranean scanning device, find the ruin, and it is huge. Adventure commences!
This is just an idea, and likely clashes with premade lore, but any settings can be made into games easily.

I'm not seeing what the actual game would be.
Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.

Well, you said it was an idea for a PBP. What you outlined in your first post was an idea for a setting.
Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
