Definitely not enough information here to give you a back story. Don't know the age, background, patron, personality and parentage. The best advice I can give you is look at Xanathar's Guide and in the this is my character section. It gives you questions and tables to answer that will help you flush out your character to where you can then provide more information on them so somebody could write a full back story. We could give you a back story for a character that we would come up with and it'd be something that you're not looking for. You know what kind of character you want to play so only you would be able to answer those questions. I could write up a back story for you where you were a chaotic evil celestial warlock at level one and then discover your sorcerer power at level 2. I don't know what level you are and that'd be as far as I'd go unless I wanted to just give you a story where you are 20th level. Once you provide that additional information I'm sure someone here would be more than willing to help write you a back story.

Remember this is a game and it's suppose to be fun for everybody. Let's all have fun and kill monsters.
Was him bring a scrawny little kid growing up with his human dad, being picked on constantly by the local kids for his elfish blood. Wanting to take revenge he seeks out help to become more powerful. Enter the warlock part of his life. While adventuring he starts noticing powees that aren't from this pack her made and then there being a internal struggle of which path to follow... The power giving to him or the one that comes from within
We're starting at level 5 so I was going to do 4 in lock 1 in sorcerer
Well, it sounds like you intend to have it so that the warlock and the sorcerer powers conflict in some way, which definitely could be workable. Perhaps your patron is striving to convince you to pursue your studies under its tutelage rather than exploring your own innate capabilities. This could be manipulative, it brings you closer under its control, or it could be supportive, yet wary or cautious of power not of its own design.
That said, if it were my own character, I would actually have the warlock flow into the sorcerer. Your blood lineage has caused your character to suffer, and this attracts the attention of your celestial patron. This patron wishes you to fully understand the potential within your heritage, and trains you under its tutelage to realize that potential, which manifests as your Sorcerer abilities. From there, really any combination of class growth would be appropriate. You could go full Warlock, the character pledging to the celestial patron in gratitude. You could go full Sorcerer, the celestial patron having fulfilled its intent to see you develop your own power. Or you could continue to mix these classes together, the celestial patron remaining part of your life and continuing to aid you in developing both your innate abilities and those it bequeaths. In this scenario, the patron could still be either manipulative or supportive.
I like that idea of my patron guiding me too, is there a list of the different patrons in one of the books or is it purely on the person too make them up. I would like to find one that has I tie in with the storm magic of the sorcerer if I'm going to go that route
In 5e, aside from a list of possible options, it's almost entirely down to the person to make up, though it might be best to let the DM do the heavy-lifting on that front.
Those possible options are empyreans, solars, ki-rins, unicorns, or other entities from the Upper Planes. I think the easiest option is to choose a god of the tempest domain, or otherwise storm-themed, and have your patron be a celestial under that god. If an empyrean, it could be the son or daughter of that god. If a Solar, it's perhaps an archangel of that god.
Talos and Kord are the most well known of the storm gods, but there are some elf gods that are tempest domain as well. What kind of storm do you see your elf sorcerer veering toward? Are you going to be focusing on a ship-based/oceanic tempest? Or more of a landlocked storm? Like, as an example, more Poseidon or more Zeus?
If you're veering toward Poseidon, there is the Deep Sashelas, the elf god of the sea, seafaring and knowledge. This deity is more about calming storms than conjuring them, but still storm-related.
If you're more into the Zeus camp, there's Aerdrie Faenya, the winged goddess of air and sky, responsible for transporting elf souls between worlds. Wild goddess of the winds and weather.
These are just options. There are other tempest-related elf gods like Rellavar Danuvien, who is a harsh, winter weather god, and you can always go with a non-elf god.

Hey guys I've always had trouble writing a back story for my characters. So I thought I'd leave it here and see what ideas I could get.
I'm wanting to play a half elf celestial warlock/storm sorcerer..... And go
Are you starting out as the Storm Sorcerer or the Warlock? Also, is there a particular reason you are multi-classing?

Going from the lock to the sorcerer.
My original vision I had while thinking of him,
