Right. Is there any info in the module about the current state of things in Keoland or maybe the aquatic folk of the Azure Sea? I can’t find any Greyhawk setting stuff for 5e.

There's nothing in 5e on Greyhawk besides Ghosts of Saltmarsh, and there is not much information contained inside of it.

Good point! Thank you 😊. Is Tomb of Horrors a separate book of its own?
Tomb of Annihilation is also included in Tales from the Yawning Portal, but was expanded into a whole adventure in Tomb of Annihilation. However, ToA is set in Chult while the Tomb of Horros in TftYP is setting-ambiguous.

A fool pulls the leaves. A brute chops the trunk. A sage digs the roots.
Interestingly, no. Despite being described as one in the Monster Manual, he appears as a full Lich in Tomb of Annihilation. I'm not really sure why this is so.

In ToA, he's a CR 23 real Lich. In ToH, he's a CR 23 Demilich. There's lore reasons for this, but mainly it's kind of like the Astral Projection spell.

@JoeltheWalrus got it. Thanks guys 😊. I just picked up Curse of Strahd and I’m thinking of getting Tomb of Annihilation in a couple weeks, so I’ll let you know what I think if I get it.
Random question. How much of ToA is a wilderness adventure set in the Jungles of Chult and how much is a dungeon crawl? I’m sort of familiar with Forgotten Realms and I like Chult. Also, how much of Tomb of Annihilation is monsters as opposed to traps and stuff? (I’ve heard ToH is like 90% traps.)

I just got ToA from the library, and it is certainly a well designed adventurer. Chult if an interesting setting, but a lot of it is random encounters. I'd say it's about fifty percent wilderness hex crawl, and fifty percent megadungeon delve. I haven't played it though, just read it. The actual megadungeon itself, called the Tomb of the Nine Gods, is still a lot of monster fighting but does have interesting traps and puzzles. It is not anything close to ToH, though. That is pure traps and misery, while ToA is a nice mix of puzzles and combat. ToH is much deadlier as well.

Is there setting info on the Azure Sea and the surrounding kingdoms?
What about aquatic elves?
Thanks.
I believe Saltmarsh as originally published was somewhere on Oerth, so part of the Greyhawk setting...?

If you do this you'll reveal a lot of SPOILERS...............

@LeviRocks thank you
The only other adventure set in Greyhawk is White Plume Mountain from Tales from the Yawning Portal.

Cool. Thanks.
Is the Tomb of Horrors technically set in Greyhawk as well, since it was created by Gary Gygax?
Also pointing out that a ton of older adventures and such are available as PDFs on dmsguild.

Awesome! I like Chult 😊.
Is Tomb of Annihilation like a remake of the old Tomb of Horrors or a totally new adventure?
It's more of a totally new adventure. The only real similarities between ToH and ToA are that both were created by Acererak and are deadly dungeons.

Got it. Acererak is a demilich right?
Interestingly, no. Despite being described as one in the Monster Manual, he appears as a full Lich in Tomb of Annihilation. I'm not really sure why this is so.

@JoelTheWalrus ToA sounds awesome. I think I will buy it after I finish CoS.
Your library has 5e books? Wow!
