With the recent changes to the spell list, and the reworks to the base classes. It's highly possible we might get new spells as it's the one thing we haven't seen in these unearthed arcana, beyond mind sliver that is. So any spells you wish to return? Any spells you feel is needed for class identity or so on?
I'm sorry if I was unclear on this thread. My intent wasn't for merging existing spells. But rather making new ones up.
Example being something like for a sorcerer to have Powerword: Chaos (3.5 Word of Chaos, target gets a random debuff) Chaos Hammer (3.5 Chaos hammer, random damage melee attack)
The theme of unpredictable magic that fits with chaos bolt to the wild mage.
Or inventing new ones like for a ranger to get Poison strike (Similar to a searing smite but does poison and gives the poisoned condition.) Petrifying strike (does some poison damage and gives petrifying condition)
The theme of those three strikes would be to call upon the power of beasts for the attacks. The poisonous power of a spider or the petryfying power of a basilisk

A cantrip like Booming Blade and Green-Flame Blade but for ranged and thrown weapons. I would like that especially for ranged Arcane Tricksters.

Thunderous smite, and lightning bolt for my tempest cleric.
Sunbeam and Sunburst for cleric. The fact that the wizard has them but not the cleric never sat well with me lol xD
