For me, the fact that they haven't done the Spells of the Marks isn't a huge deal, just a minor inconvenience. I don't care more about it, and won't. I don't understand how it is different from Warlock added spell lists, but again, I could not care more about this. It's such a minor problem for me, it is barely worth complaining about. Sure, it's paid content. Also, the Class Feature Variants probably takes more work, will likely become paid content as well when a book with the options inside it is published, and will likely be a larger problem converting than just a few racial spell lists.
I am glad you can at least have good discourse with your response.
I disagree but thank you for being civil at least.

What do you disagree about, exactly? I understand being frustrated about the lack of development on this front, as well as a lack of response to this issue, but what part of it is unreasonable to you? Is it more than a minor inconvenience that your spells cannot be selected from this list? Can you not just remember these changes?
It seems to be a fairly minor problem, but I do understand your frustration.

Dragonmark variants/subraces - there are 13 of these presented in Chapter 1. All of them have a racial feature named, "Spells of the Mark" that adds spells to the character's spell list, if that class has spellcasting or pact magic. We haven't been able to model that correctly at this time, but will implement as soon as we are able to.
They have been very upfront about it. They can't release a timeline but have been very open about the fact that they are working on fixing this.

Understanding the frustration is much more than many have already expressed already so that is appreciated.
Basically its that in order for me to "fix" the content I have to spend significant time with a workaround that makes things janky for every character I create. So its an inconvenience for several reasons.
Looking back I likely would have seriously considered not buying the book knowing that parts of it were not integrated. But honestly this was not communicated on the marketplace in anyway and I found out only after the content dropped.

I dont think that is a fair expectation.
They explained the problem. The fact that you didn't see that is not their fault.

When I purchase I software product, I expect there to be minor software bugs. That is just what happens with software systems undergoing ongoing development. I expect there to be a bug reporting process, a bug tracker, and that bugs get fixed. DnDBeyond meets all three of those requirements.

No they didnt....
No where on the marketplace does it state parts of the content are not available in the character builder.

Feels a bit dishonest.
Maybe recommend to them that they should list on their marketplace along with the books that certain content is currently not supported by the website. Would you have not bought the book if you knew that the spell lists weren't currently compatible with character builder? I seriously disbelieve that if you think you wouldn't have bought the book.

Its a very very very simple thing for them to clearly state what issues are present on the marketplace if they wish to be honest about the state of the software.
A good comparison is Steam and their storefront page for their content. They have patch notes on the front of the page for those considering the product to clearly see.
Again by hiding it in a forum its not exactly being honest with the state of the product.

They are being honest. I don't really see it as hiding the information. They have a forum clearly labeled for Bugs. Its publicly viewable. Its searchable.
Patch notes are not the same thing as a bug tracker.

No clear honestly would be linking to the forum bug page on the marketplace directly. I am not sure how you are expecting everyone to search a forum (an already outdated form of technology) to find information on the product they want to purchase? If you are saying they are doing the absolute bare minimum I agree. But I personally think they can do better.

I'll say again, all software has minor bugs. They publicly list the bugs they are aware of. They work to fix the bugs. There is no reason for them to fix your favorite bug faster than my favorite bug. They work in the order that makes sense for their constraints and they are (quite generously) communicating their development progress as best as they are able.
I'm just not as interested in being 'very angry' as you are. They are doing a good job and are communicating what they can. I try not to be 'very angry' when people aren't being malicious.

You still dont address how they could do better about communication. Would it not be better to link to the forum in question for people to make a more informed decision? You use "other software" as an example and these other examples (Such as Steam) have clear notifications about patches, changelogs, and reviews on the material you are wanting to purchase.
Huh, I hadn't noticed that change. Since we're mostly adults here and adults swear sometimes, I like this change in policy to allow users to 'opt in' for mature language.

I agree actually but I was adhering to an older standard where such things were expected to be reported more frequently to keep the forums family friendly. This is a good solution for both.

Should we not expect the same here?
Changelogs and patch notifications are not bug trackers. I don't expect bug trackers to be on every software product's front page. They should be easily accessible, such as via the SUPPORT FORUM link at the bottom of every page on DnDBeyond.

Honestly that is the bare minimum for expectations and most people I believe would say is not upfront with problems or issues others are having with the purchase. How would one even know to go there? Simply doing the bare minimum maybe good for some but I honestly would like to see more.
Android store, Steam, Apple App Store, DMGuild, Amazon, and basically everywhere else you buy digital content has features such as:
Reviews Changelogs Patch notes
These help make an informed decision. I have for sure used how often something was updated as a way to help decide if I want to buy the product. If I saw that an app has not been updated for over a year it shows that the developers are not active with implementing changes and I might forgo it for another option.
