So. Loving the Armorer subclass right now. Only problem I'm having is that I can't find out how to select one of my armors as my Power Armor. Anyone has this issue as well? More importantly, a solution? Thanks in advance!
There doesn't appear to be a way to convert armor into Power Armor at the moment. If you pick the option you want on your class page, and make sure you have SOME armor equipped on your actual character, the weapons and features should still appear. Is that the problem you're having?
No, not really. The problem is what you addressed first. I'm concerned how the sheet will track me wearing the power armor, which apparently isn't a feature yet. Thanks anyways!
What I dod currently is Customize whichever suit of armor I have chosen as my power armor using the items Customize section. I rename the armor to indicate it is power armor. For the Infiltrator version, I adjust the weight to be that of fine clothes (or as the DM suggests). As I have read it, Power Armor can be ANY armor, magical or otherwise.
I expect if this UA goes LIVE, we'll get a better means of adding in the Power Armor feature. For now this works even if it is a tad annoying. :)

Watch your back, conserve your ammo, and NEVER cut a deal with a dragon!
Has anyone figured out how to modify your power armor so that it does not affect your walking speed and an effective way to proper infuse the power armor when you get more modifications at level 9
I don't know about you guys, but for me, I think guardian power armor should be a vehicle ala war machines and battle balloons. In my head, I see it more as an Exo-frame from Exo-Squad or Lex Luthor's war suit more than just a set of armor that's just beefy. But that's just me. I would like to see it treated as such, maybe even a different stat block, if/when it becomes an official class. I'm pretty sure it will become an official class in the near future, people dig it.
yeah.. what you're looking for is to build a personalised golem mech. which is very cool!!! but yeah i just want a power armor to be a proper item/infusion we can make. I do deeply hope you find a dm who will let you make what you described, cuz that sounds so cool.

Power armour != Mech. What you are describing is a mech, not power armour.
As always, the limits are set by the creativity of the player and by the limitations set by the DM. This is D&D, not World of Warcraft. It should NEVER be all about BALANCE.

I feel like a lot of players and DMs don't fully explore this. Rules keep things in order, but everything else is whatever you want. If you want your power armor to be just a magical suit of armor, that's fine. If you want your power armor to be flavored as something more akin to Fallout, Warhammer or the previously mentioned EXO-Squad, talk to your DM and have at it. The question shouldn't just be, how can I math this out? As much as, 'hey DM, would you allow this?" Thumbs up or thumbs down.
I am playing an Armorer in the near future and have had the all clear from the DM about me using it like a mech suit almost. Mechanics wise not much will change other than when I got to settlements I will hop out of the armor and have it parked somewhere and Rp wise when I use spells I will be reflavouring them as magitech features of the "mech suit" so Faerie Fire is like a flare gun and Grease is an oilslick gun and Expeditious retreat onmyself is overclocking the power core while if spells are used on allies they are adrenaline shots or some form of magitech gizmo.
I like the idea of playing a Gnomish Ironman and the DM and the other players think its really cool.
Rules and Mechanics wise nothing is changing. No stat changes, no addons no nothing just a little bit of logic added in places where necessary.

I just set it on the chargen section for the character

Does anyone know how to dual wield thunder gauntlets. I have the dual wielder feat and the feature explicitly calls out enchanting both gauntlets.
This is something I need an answer to as well. I'm struggling to fix my armor without fully homebrewing a new armor.

Where do you draw the line?
