So just messing with character builder, as like to do from time to time. Making a Bugbear fighter, level 11 and was able to choose the defensive fighting style twice. so able to increase said character's AC +2 from both.
Not entirely a bug - more an oversight where the character builder doesn't enforce the rules and allows you to choose something that the rules say don't work.
That said - it is an issue logged with the dev team to resolve.
The reason it exists is because each class's fighting style feature is a new list of feature options. Fighting styles are not a single pool that different classes are able to pull from (like how proficiencies work, sort of).

I believe multiple fighting styles of the same type is a known issue.
