Not currently. Best you can do at the moment is create a monster style stat block that can be access through extras. They are planning to build a sidekick builder, but it could be a while.
Kinda lame not to know that they had exactly 3 weeks to implement the whole book because WotC was late in delivering the material...
Except that Sidekicks were a part of the essentials kit, released 09/19, and part of a UA before that, so to suggest that they only had three weeks to prepare is ridiculous.
The three week lead time excuse become even more ridiculous when you consider the first Dev update talking about Tasha implementation was on Youtube Sept 10, 2020. Which by my math is more than three weeks before release.
To pile on even more, a portion of the material that is in the book worked just fine as UA material, but suddenly needed more development time despite few, if any changes. For exxample, fighting style feats.
I accept that they had only three weeks to implement a couple surprises - though I don't know what those could possibly be since I can't think of one thing in the book that wasn't common knowledge before hand, and also requires significant programming in the toolset - but the vast majority of the book had been in the light of day for significant time.
Kinda lame to accept broad statements at face value while ignoring any evidence to the contrary.
I just don't see it happening. They'd have to make it so that you could pull in any CR 1/2 stat block into a "sidekick builder" or whatever name they come up with, and then make it so that it can be leveled, and drop in ASIs, etc. That's a ton of work for something that probably won't get much usage. We already have a way to build a custom sidekick... the homebrew system. If I want an Aarakocra warrior sidekick that boosts DEX instead of STR (default warrior level increase currently in the extras) with a +2 shortsword, I can make that via homebrew monster. One of the main intentions with the sidekicks is a simpler character, thus...NPC stat block.
But with that said, it would be nice if they had their own inventory system. (Which if they ever figure out how to do inventory in bags of holding/mounts/carts, will also be available for sidekicks I'm sure.)

That would be very useful, specifying either Expert, Spellcaster, or Warrior.
