In case you haven't seen them yet, WotC partnered with Ferrara to create a couple of D&D Nerds packages. If you buy them and send in a photo of your receipt (along with all of your personal contact information) you will get a special crossover adventure. The adventure consists of 6 single-player adventures (one for each of the characters) and one follow-up group adventure for all 6 characters. These adventures are designed to be played with the Basic Rules.
The pre-gen characters in these adventures aren't given any specific race, and I wanted to be able to build the characters here in D&D Beyond for ease of play, so I created a Homebrew race for them! Currently the Nerds are V1.2, but look for the newest version in case I find more kinks to work out.
So far, I have only worked on the Orange (fighter) character as a standard points-buy build. However, the character sheet in the PDF appears to have two bugs: HP is listed as "14 (1d10+2)" which is just bad math, and the passive perception is listed as 11, but the perception skill proficiency should make that 13. I'm sure these are just typos because I noticed a few other copy-editing errors throughout the adventure series.
[Update 2021-12-1] I created the Pink (rogue) character as a standard points-buy build. The character sheet in the PDF somehow has 4 additional skill proficiencies than I can generate. On the other hand, I can only identify one skill with Expertise (Stealth) in the PDF rather than two. Perhaps the second is Thieves' Tools and it just wasn't mentioned on the character sheet? Interestingly, D&D Beyond's Urchin background doesn't want to let me choose Thieves' Tools, perhaps because the Rogue class already provides that proficiency.
[Update 2021-12-1] I created the Yellow (cleric) character as a manually rolled character because a standard points-buy build is 5 points short of this character's printed ability scores. Just like Orange, the PDF character sheet also lists HP as "11 (1d8+1)" rather than 9. I'm also not sure where the pre-generated character gets "Darkvision 60 ft."
[Update 2021-12-14] I created the Green (bard) character as a standard points-buy build. The character sheet in the PDF somehow has an additional tool proficiency and 2 more skill proficiencies than I can generate. It also starts out with a shortbow and quiver of arrows in addition to the normal starting equipment.
[Update 2021-12-15] I created the Purple (wizard) character as a manually rolled character because a standard points-buy build has a max starting attribute of 15, which even with a racial +2 would only be 17. If the printed character's INT was 17 it would be a standard array. The printed character also has an additional cantrip and three additional languages that I can't account for. The printed character's Passive Perception is listed as 11, which looks like a typo since the character is proficient in perception. Another minor issue is the printed character only has one sheet of parchment rather than the normal 10, and has a second wand rather than the starting equipment gained from the Acolyte background.
[Update 2021-12-15] I created the Red (ranger) character as a standard points-buy build, though I had to put the racial bonus into STR, DEX, or WIS to make it add up, rather than CON, which would be a more natural fit for the race as I wrote it.) The character sheet in the PDF somehow has 2 more skill proficiencies than I can generate.
I'll add more notes and updates to this thread as needed.
The HP is because you selected the automatic HP prior to selecting your Class, so it automatically defaults to the highest possible, the Barbarian’s 12. Then you selected the Fighter Class so it changed the due to a d10, but the HP sticks. It’s a known bug. Manually adjust your HP down to 12 and it’ll be fine from now on.
The proficiency might be because you made a late adjustment after the initial build, and then exported the PDF too fast. After any adjustments you gotta wait up to 20 minutes before exporting or not all the changes might have registered yet.

I think you misunderstood my comment. The character in the Nerds PDF is incorrect, not the character I built here. =]
Ahh, I did misunderstand. I haven’t looked at the nerds PDF or even have any clue what it it is. You posted in the homebrew forum, I assumed you were having issues with your homebrews.
