Does anyone know if there is any way to create a homebrew effect, (preferably in a subclass but at this point an item would work), that could do something similar to how "Soul of Artifice" adds 1 to saving throws based on the number of items attuned? While trying different things in a current design idea for a subclass, (from a different main class), I wanted to try doing something like this for damage from magical weapons, adding one per attuned item. Even after literal pages in my homebrew collection there is still so much of this system that is not intuitive in the slightest. If it is impossible within DDBs current system I'd at least like to know.
No, there’s really no way to automate additional damage to magic weapons only based on the number of attuned items. It’s something the player will have to track manually by customizing their weapons directly on their character sheet.
Alright, thank you for letting me know. I feel like DDB has been around long enough to just make every functionality available on the homebrew side by now, but we know they'll never completely hand over free reign, at least not digitally.
