I noticed that in Xanathar's Guide to Everything, they didn't include any racial feats for the races in the Elemental Evil Player's Companion or Volo's Guide to Monsters. I've decided to make a few here.
Windshard Adept Prerequisite: Aarakocra
You have learned to control the power of Elemental Air mastered by your ancestors. You learn the gust of wind spell. When you cast it in this way, you must finish a short or long rest before you can cast it again. Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for this spell.
Angelic Aspect Prerequisite: Aasimar
From your celestial heritage, you have gained the ability to create a feeling of awe or terror in your angelic power. As an action on your turn, you can unleash the celestial power within you in a 30 - foot radius. Each creature in that radius that can see you must make a Wisdom saving throw with a DC of 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier. A creature that fails the saving throw is either charmed or frightened (your choice) by you for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the start of each of its turns, ending the effect on a success. Once you use this feature, you must finish a short or long rest before you can use it again.
Bugbear Brutishness Prerequisite: Bugbear
Born for the use of brute-force, the strength of your weapon strikes is exceptional. When you hit with a melee weapon attack, you deal one extra die of damage.
Druidic Ancestry Prerequisite: Firebolg
Further mastering the nature magic practiced by your people, you have learned to cast a number of other spells. You can cast animal friendship and faerie fire at will. In addition, you can cast plant growth. Once you cast this spell, you must finish a long rest before you can cast it again.
Shape of the Wind Prerequisite: Genasi (Air)
Drawing on the power of your Djinn ancestry, you have learned to become one with the wind. As an action on your turn, you can fade into a single gust of wind. While in air form, you can move through any space that is not air tight. You can move through the space of hostile creatures and stop there. In addition, you have a flying speed of 30 feet. You cannot attack while in air form, but you can cast the levitate spell. This transformation lasts for 1 minute. Once you use this feature, you must finish a long rest before you can use it again.
Stone Glide Prerequisite: Genasi (Earth)
From your dao parent, you have gained the ability to move through earth and stone. You gain a burrowing speed of 30 feet. In addition, when you burrow through nonmagical, unworked earth or stone, you don't disturb the material as you move through it.
Spark of Imix Prerequisite: Genasi (Fire)
When you were born, you were infused with a spark of Imix, the Elemental Prince of Evil Fire. Over time, you have learned to control this power, mastering greater fire magic than others of your kind. You know the fire bolt and control flames cantrips. In addition, you can cast heat metal and scorching ray. When you cast one of these spells, you can't cast that spell again until you finish a long rest. Constitution is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
Wave Step Prerequisite: Genasi (Water)
As a descendant of the marids, you have gained the ability to walk on water as if it were solid ground. You can cast water walk at will.
Friendship of Dark Creatures Prerequisite: Goblin
Goblins such as you have specialized in taming giant rats, rats, and worgs. You gain the following benefits:
Your Wisdom score increases by 1.
You gain proficiency in the animal handling if you do not already have it.
You have advantage on Wisdom (Animal Handling) checks made to calm or interact with rats, giant rats, worgs, or wolves.
More feats will be added to this list in the next couple of days. In the meantime, please give me your opinions on the ones currently on the thread.
Devious serpent folk devoid of compassion, yuan-ti manipulate other creatures by arousing their doubts, evoking their fears, and elevating and crushing their hopes. From remote temples in jungles, swamps, and deserts, the yuan-ti plot to supplant and dominate all other races and to make themselves gods.
DnD Beyond released some expanded racial feats for these that you've mentioned. [REDACTED]. There is the link and you'll be able to see what they've come up with. I however, do have a few thoughts on your feats. I think that giving an Aarakocra a spell is kind of weird, though not sure what else you could do with that race. I think the Fire genasi heavily outweighs the others. They all get 1 spell, except the fire genasi gets 4. I know there are many fire based spells, but this still seems unbalanced. And Bugbear Brutishness seems SUPER OP imo. Especially if you consider that class being a barbarian or even a fighter with multiple attacks. Since you're doubling the hit die, a bugbear with this feat with three attacks would do [Weapon Damage x 6 + Proficiency x 3] whereas any other race would have [Weapon damage x 3 + Proficiency x 3]. Seems like it makes a HUGE difference.

Oh, I did not see the Expanded Racial Feats pdf. If I had seen it earlier, I probably wouldn't have created this thread. In the Monster Manual, the aarakocra entry has a sidebar showing how aarakocra can summon air elementals so I thought that giving them air spells wouldn't be to weird.

That's a good point. I did not read that, I suppose if you are going to make a feat for a race, reading the flavor text would be a good place to start. Knowing that, I do actually like your Aarakocra feat.
Wave Step and Windshard Adept seem a little underpowered. I don't see sacrificing a feat or two ability points in exchange for being able to cast a second level spell.

That's a good point. Should either power up the spell, or give them a higher level spell.
I mean honestly as I’m reading this it’s kind of ridiculous that only people who preordered get these feats and no one can publish them ourselves. Wasn’t this released for free anyway? I mean if it’s seriously such a big deal release them as a $6 pack so I can throw money at the screen. I’m already buying everything else, and I can’t be expected to privately remake all of these things, just saying.

The expanded Racial feats were a pre-order bonus for ordering XGtE. If you pre-ordered, then yes, you got the feats for free (and already entered into D&D Beyond). After the XGtE release, Badeye also offered the Expanded Racial Feats as a pdf on DMs Guild (which you can find here: http://www.dmsguild.com/product/226194/Expanded-Racial-Feats).
Anyone who purchased the pdf from DMs Guild can self enter the feats into DDB via the homebrew tools (as long as they don't publish them and instead keep for private use).

I understand what you’re saying but I guess my question is can they be added to the marketplace so I can buy them? I don’t want to hand make 19 feats that I know exist but didn’t show up to DnDB early enough to be allowed to use.
