I have a class based on a lot of random effects and Far Realm stuff, one that is giving me trouble can summon 1-4 creatures, summon 1 of 4 creatures, and handful of other things. I am not sure what is the best way to do this in the homebrew. I started by making a monster's stat block but that was getting pretty wordy for a feature. I started to make monsters, but since their power is based on the summoner's caster ability and proficiency bonus, on top of which I've never made monster and I'm still having to learn the formatting let alone how to turn it into a summoner dependent creature. The second summoned creatures, each of the four share many features, like creatures that change through life cycle, like dragons but on a much smaller scale, so probably different creatures for each "age" group? Again not sure.

Monster: Osprey Feat: Skill Mastery–Animal Handler (Provides DCs for training animals applicable to those with and without this feat)
It is not currently possible to create monsters with traits that scale off of a PC’s ability scores or PB.

Can I create a homebrew creature and have a class feature that summons the monsters?
I am trying to do that and having trouble finding it.

I don’t believe so, I think the system won’t let us add homebrewed monsters as Extras. You can however embed a copy of the statblock into the feature description.
