Little background. We play a campaign in Forgotten realms and my character is a sorcerer from one of the great mercantile houses of Amn. He is not spoiled brat but sometimes he is quite close to that. Recently I acquired a scroll of Spell Leomund's Tiny Hut. I took Ritual caster talent back at 8th level. I do not care for overpowered parts of the spell but I am looking for a fun way to improve/change the spell with sorcery points. I came to something like this:
add 0 sorcery point - the spell is cast as in RAW add 1 sorcery point - there is a Calimshan carpet and lots of pillows on the ground, the dome glows a little add 2 sorcery points - there is a Calimsah carpet, lots of pillows and a set of beds inside the dome, the dome sheds dim light in a 10-foot radius add 3 sorcery points - there is a Calimsah carpet, lots of pillows and a set of luxury beds inside the dome, the dome sheds dim light in a 30-foot radius add 4 sorcery points - includes all from above and includes a small circular pool in the middle of the dome, outside of the dome can be perceived only with a disadvantage from the inside as the dome itself starts to resemble some other place, the dome sheds bright light in a 30-foot radius add 5 sorcery points - when you enter the dome it feels like you are in some luxury house in Athkatla, pool with bubbles, bar, invisible servant, you cannot perceive outside of the dome, the dome sheds bright light in a 60-foot radius
All other rules and restrictions of the spell still apply.
The first 2-3 level seems fine to me. But Leomund's Tiny Hut is supposed to be only 10ft in diameter, so I'm not sure how some of these things would fit in there are higher level.

I think I might be ok with that as a DM, but some others might not. Mostly, it will depend on the feel your DM wants to put on adventuring: it's a lot tougher to imagine having a rough day of traveling if you sleep in soft beds after having a warm bath every night.
As a DM, I wouldn't personally even bother with such a list at my table. I would just listen to however you wanted to embellish your hut each time you did it. Then I would just tell you how much it costs, the more lavish, the higher, obviously. Anything cosmetic would be cheap, anything mechanically different like changing the size... that could get expansive. If you thought it was fair I'd allow it, if you thought it was too much you'd negotiate and I'd consider and between us we'd figure it out. I know that's not a very "D&D" answer, but gosh darn it, it's so crazy it just might work. Plus, my way, you'd get to change the decor however you please each time.

Sadly none of them are sorcerer spells, and because they're not rituals, they're not option for his feat.

I truly like this idea. On the other hand, permanent housing might be something that you want the whole party to be included in (I like flying ship a LOT, castles and inns are overdone). But having something for yourself (like Scanlan and his Magnificient Mansion) is alluring idea :)

I would also worry about making it be a low-level ritual version of Mordenkainen's Magnificent Mansion.

Yes for a hefty price of 5 sorcerer's points the intention is to make it one room Mordenkainen's Magnificent Mansion. :)

I'd say maybe tone down the number of luxuries but also increase the size of the dome

... I mean, it kind of has upgrades built in to the spell list. By which I mean you get Leomund's Tiny Hut and then Mordenkainen's Private Sanctum, Guards and Wards, Mordenkainen's Magnificent Mansion, Temple of the Gods, and Mighty Fortress.

And final incarnation might be pocket dimension just like in Baldur's Gate: Throne of Bhaal. With Caspenar of course. :)
Oh, yeah - I neglected to include demiplane. But it only lasts an hour or so... not so useful for taking a leisurely rest.
