Hi, I'm trying to homebrew two items for my players.
1. magic item has two spells stored in it, the first one being Disguise Self and the other a spell they can change once per day.
2. magic item that allows the caster to cast healing spells at 1 level higher. I.E: They cast a 1st level cure wounds, it would be a 2nd level cure wound.
How would I go about that in homebrew creation on DNDBeyond? any input would be helpful. TY for your time!
Magic Items are intended by design to not have spells that can swap out. The concept of Magic Items is that they are made whole and absolute and then locked in as what they are for all eternity. The closest you might get is something like a Ring of Spell Storing, but there is no way to actually put any spells into it, that would just be tracked by plain txt and notes.
There is no mechanical way to do that, you would just enter the information as plain text and the person would have to track that themselves.
