I'd like to play a socially-oriented non-spellcaster class. Think the "noble" class from various Star Wars rpgs. In my mind, the bard would be a subclass of this noble class. But given that the social pillar is more like a rotten stump, I don't think there's much room for it.
Oh, and I guess the obligatory "tactician/warlord" and "warmage/arcane paladin".
Hmm...a dedicated summoner/pet class! Each subclass would be based around they type of creature it summons, and it could use the spirit stat blocks from Tasha's as inspiration.

What about sort of an updated take on the bard, ranger, artificer, & rogue? Blend them together, and add a few different subclasses (noble, traveler, entertainer, crafter, ETC). And no spellcasting.

Witch.
More properly, hedge, hearth, and highway witches -- cunning folk. kind of an arcane take on the druid.
However, I have to clarify that one of my undying and most intense dislikes about 5e is the way the classes are set up.

Oh I don't necessarily need another such class, I just know it's a common request. I have no problem just reflavoring a paladin. Also, why do these classes have such wacky names? In what way do magi mean spellcasting fighters?

Magus was the name of the arcane gish class in Pathfinder. Don't know why they named it that, though. And just thought it might interest you.

The Mystic seemed pretty fun, and an actual class for psionics wasn’t that bad.

Hi, I’m DrakenBrine, here’s my Sig and characters
The greatest class: Pathfinder’s Kineticist! It is a class that has many abilities that seem like spells, but it plays like a martial class with its own special selection of weapons and fighting styles! I would love to see more classes in D&D that fall outside of martial and caster and fill another sort of role. They may be able to play like a tank, ranged fighter, or other styles, but they FEEL different and unique!
I would like to see a sub-class to, perhaps the cleric, known as the Shaman (or in case that's too insensitive) - we can call it Spirit Walkers.
Essentially the class would have a mixture of both cleric and druid (so things that do with healing, as well as nature) - but some of their class features would be at (and just off the cuff thinking this as I type this) - Summon Spirit Animal. They could choose between several animals (that would have to be native to their current land area - so for example, the likelihood of summoning a Spirit Wolf in the middle of a desert or the ocean is not going to work). This Spirit animal could provide them with some guidance (if they're lost, help them find their way, and could communicate very primitively like Speak with Animals to give general information about the land). At later levels, the Summon Spirit Animal - their bond between life and death the spirit world becomes stronger - so these Summon Spirit Animals would then also have stats as a pet and can attack (dealing either necrotic or radiant damage, the Spirit Walker's choice). And maybe, they can cast it equal to their Proficiency - and requires a long rest to recharge. Even later levels, the Spirit Animals are called and have a tighter grip to the side of life and can be used as mounts (so summon up Spirit Horses or Spirit Giant Eagles at a later level).
Along with the Summon Spirit Animal, their ability to commune with just nature itself could provide things. Maybe between some of the Spirit Animal stuff, they can commune with nature - so they can appear to "talk to trees" - and while the tree doesn't talk back - the way the wind moves the branches is the tree communicating - and similar to the spirit animals initially - it's pretty primitive info. Later levels, they can "awaken" some of nature (and eventually even awaken a tree to become a treant under the Spirit Walker's command).
Hey, that’s my class! Neat that people are still stumbling across it after so long. I never exactly finished it (only play tested it for a few low level sessions, and I never found a satisfying name), but I still like that homebrew class of mine. I originally called it the Magus because of Pathfinder. I’m not sure why Pathfinder did that. As far as I know, Zoroastrian Priests weren’t spell-slinging knights.

Yup, I was searching through general a year or so ago (this was back on my first account: AllMightyLordOfDND). I know realize the link is in your signature and if I had just remembered that you were the one who made it I could've saved myself a whole bunch of trouble. I do not know either why they called it the Magus *shrug*
But, I want to take a minute to talk about a few things relating to my visitation of a game store a few hours ago. The game store was called Arrow Wood Games, in Squamish, BC Canada (I'm on a trip. Currently in a very nice hotel in Whistler), so stop by if you can. it was a really cool experience, and the staff were super friendly. I highly recommend the shop if you're ever in the area. As for what I actually bought: I got a book called The Dragon Prince: Tales of Zadia. So, you know that one awesome animated show the Dragon Prince? It has it's own RPG! I love this show, and was astounded to see it (I also was tempted to buy an alternate cover version of Eve of Ruin, but since I already pre-ordered it here on DBB, and I'm not the type if person to drop 50 bucks just for an alternate cover, though it was very cool). Looking inside, it has a lot of really cool mechanics. One thing in particular stands out to me: The idea of Values. So, when you roll a check (this is a dice pool system), you add dice for a relevant ability, a die for a distinction (Kindred, which is about where you are from; Vocation, which is basically your occupation or calling; or Quirk, the thing that makes you different from other characters), and finally, a die for values. The idea of a die for values is that whatever one of the six values (Devotion, Liberty, Justice, Truth, Glory, or Mastery) is your motivation for the thing, the reason that fuels you for the action. If you seek to pick the lock to your manacles, or to escape the chase of armed guards, you might use liberty. Conversely, if you are a guard chasing an escaped criminal, you may use your Justice statistic. This seems like a really cool concept, and a way to have your role-play have a greater effect on your game in mechanical terms. I could keep going on and on about this supplement. Check it out if you can! That also leads me to a question of the day:

I really like D&D, especially Ravenloft, Exandria and the Upside Down from Stranger Things. My pronouns are she/they (genderfae).
Been a few days and nothing in this thread? Unheard of, I dare say!
So, I, myself, have not yet purchased any of the third party stuff.
So, for my own interest, and just to get this thread some life again -
What is it about each of those third party things you've purchased, that you enjoy about it? What does it add? What aspects do you enjoy (the adventure, monsters, etc.)? Would love to hear what makes these so good.

I don’t buy a lot of third party stuff, but when I do, it’s mostly for the monsters cause they’re one of my favorite things about DnD and third party monsters always have some kind of interesting gimmick to them.

But I do love cool ideas, and I am known to take an idea of something I hear about and create a new thing based on it -- that said...
I haven't bought anything 3rd party here, but I loved, loved, loved Judges Guild and was involved with the old, old Flying Buffalo -- so I also love grimtooth's and the Citybooks.
A lot of stuff I have comes from other games -- that is, it was never created for D&D, and I just adapted the hell out of it.
