A few others too. I’m interested on possibly creating something related to a combination of Decadence/Fear and then also Water/Strife, being a sea goddess of vanity. Have an idea for how both of them could come to be but it would be complicated and I might require some assistance to create an appropriate origin story I’m going for*

Later, Mephilia notices that same crow taking a dagger in its beak, stealing it from the sheathe of one of Mephilia’s warriors. the warrior doesn’t seem to notice.
She watches, feeling a mix of anger at the creature stealing from one of her soliders, frustration at her solider's lack of awareness, and twitch of understanding the desire to collect shiny things. She decides to let it slide, though afterwards she drills her soliders on being careful to keep their items secure and to always be vigilant of potential threats. She also assigns some of her Copper Consortium operatives to play help keep the peace between the corvids and her citizens.
*It's like herding cats. XD*
The Crow, recognizing her anger, flies back to its nest in Tenebrous and incorporates the dagger into its nest. Soon, a few other of the crows see the dagger and realize it’s getting them from the humans. Two more crows fly out to Mephilia’s domain, searching for shiny objects.

She would have over the course of the time they have settled here, shifted the landscape around their nests to have more shadowy trees and spaces to feel more secure and in preperation for their numbers to increase. She has already started making plans for expaning all parts of her domain, including this section.

They enjoy the shadowy trees and increase of nooks and crannies to hide, and often fly around their territory coating their hiding spots in their saliva to keep it safe and available only to them.
(still trying to figure out these guys’ life cycle, I have two general ideas and I need help deciding. Either the eggs they lay hatch into vaguely humanoid sort of plague doctor looking creatures, which then kill creatures and attract regular crows to the bodies, which then feast on it and transform into the monster crows, repeating the cycle, or they hatch normal crows and the older crows continue mutating into a similar creature mentioned before, but sort of an elder of their species kind of thing than a plague doctor. Might still do the corpse feasting thing, I don’t know*
