Supernatural would be a cool one. Plenty of monsters to hunt for the combat-focused players, but enough story to keep everyone else entertained. Obviously, you'd have to include guns, cars, and other modern things, but it wouldn't take a whole lot of work.
Speaking of, how do you feel about guns in an otherwise swords-and-spells campaign?

How do you feel about seeing a Death Star in the sky along with the clouds? How do you feel about there being lemons in your spaghetti and meatballs? Maybe some disagree with me, but the fantasy is what makes D&D fun, not, "You pull out a gun and deal 50d20 points of blast damage. This attack can not be blocked in any way, except the Wish Spell."
Answer CriticalWhale's question, so he has a better opinion then mine.

My Mountain Dwarf Fighter, from the Peaks of Winter Play by Post. I'm very proud of him. Thanks to VillainTheory for backstory inspiration.
Overall I like the idea of adding some blunderbusses and stuff, but I feel like the DM has to be careful to keep things balanced and not just have one guy running around with a gun.
Does any other DM's who create their own adventures use music when writing to help with inspiration? If yes, what kind?
Once, I was playing through a really low level set of stories called Defiance in Phlan at a convention, and we were in this one story where you are tasked to find an artifact that is in the inn you are currently at. The goal is to talk to all the patrons of the inn the find things out since it's a No-Combat riddle story, but one guy casts Detect Magic to try to find the artifact. It didn't work, but the DM said that this was the closest he had ever seen someone get to outright breaking this quest.
Would you rather be Lawful Good, True Neutral, or Chaotic Evil?
Chaotic Evil, but only if it was one of my current players being the DM. In any other situation I would pick Lawful Good because true neutral is boring and I would get too carried away with chaotic evil.
What is your favorite "final boss" monster to use as a template?
I've played with one DM that made a Player Character for the adventure alongside his players. Miraculously, by the grace of the gods his character never was attacked. He said, out loud, 'well it would make sense for this guy to attack me, but I don't want him to be hurt so he's going to attack you instead.' One time he was at the center of a fire spell that would engulf the whole group, himself at the center, and somehow the guy took 0 damage. I ended up texting my mum to make up an emergency so I could escape the terrors of this miserable game.
What's the worst experience you've had with a DM?

If you love a character, you give them pain, ruin their lives, make them suffer. Maybe even throw in a heroic death.
I had a DM who ran the entire campaign on train tracks. It was his first time DMing, and he finally decided he was tired of DMing, about a month after starting, and decided to kill everyone without telling us. As team members died, I started catching on. I was finally the last one standing. I said "You're planning on killing me, right?" After he said yes, I stood up, ripped up my character sheet, and left. My husband and I were kicked out of the group shortly after.

What is your favorite color, and why?
I don't have favourites I see the inner beauty of each colour, they are all magnificent to my eyes.
When is your next game of D&D 5e scheduled for?
(I wanted to answer Firehawks not Subsists question because I think Subsist got ninja'd and missed that Firehawk had already posted.)
Endure and Survive is the one that jumps to mind immediately, though that was a video game. For DnD perhaps 'We can Necrodance if you want to, I can bring your dead to life, and if your friends aren't dead or already undead then they ain't no friends of mine' - Necromancer
Which spell from DnD 5e would you most like to be able to cast?

I put on any random kind of music i can come up with and try to imagine what sorta swords and spells world could come up with it.
What is the most problem solving ingenuity as a PC or DM you have ever seen?
Do not expect people to be smart, but do not allow them to be stupid. If there is one thing I have learned it is this.

What is your favorite "final boss" monster to use as a template?
Doppelgangers. Definitely doppelgangers.
What is the most you have, or your DM has ever bent the rules for a PC?

A dwarf with a canoe on his back? What could go wrong?
This weekend, Saturday at 11am =)
What class do you IRL relate to most?
If you love a character, you give them pain, ruin their lives, make them suffer. Maybe even throw in a heroic death.
Probably a rogue, but not the sneaky backstabbing kind. The kind of rogue that can get people to do stuff for him and avoid messy situations.
What got you started on D&D?
“Never trust the storyteller. Only trust the story.” ― Neil Gaiman, Fables & Reflections
A friend invited me to a game, and I was curious. And then I was hooked.
What weapon in the 5e do you wish you saw at your table more often PC or NPC?
Enchanted spoons.
What 5e weapon would you use in real life?
Do not expect people to be smart, but do not allow them to be stupid. If there is one thing I have learned it is this.
I'm a sucker for bows. Boring, I know.
What's your favorite movie?
A dwarf with a canoe on his back? What could go wrong?
Probably Star Wars: A New Hope to be honest. Though a close second is definitely a movie called Summer Wars.
Would you rather have telekinetic powers up to 10ft or teleportation up to 10ft?
Telekinesis. It has more practical uses, even with a limited reach.
What's your favorite quote from a game you played?

Vicious Mockery. Imagine all the possibilities *evil laughter*
