By the way, @TheMadGibber, I used that puzzle you suggested for the session tonight.
However after figuring out there was a secret door to open instead of figuring out the puzzle it was decided, "Can this wall be broken down?"
I was like, "You know what? I see no reason not." The fighter with GWM master had a Maul. So it'd only be a matter of time. So instead decided it would take 1d4 * 10 minutes to break through.
I also had a fun moment of 0 damage done. Had a few larva in one room as failed experiments. One of them hit with its bite (1d4-1 piercing) and rolled a 1. So I was like, "He gets through your armor and starts gnawing on your leg, but it's really not doing all that much." And then demonstrated by putting my arm in my mouth. xd
Nice. What'd you roll?
LOL. Rolling low is pretty fun. I remember the party was fighting some enemies that ended up rolling NEGATIVE initiative (bad dex mod+ nat 1's). So they were kinda just like "Wait, we're fighting?" and didn't do anything besides one that didn't roll negative and was sighing while fighting.
For breaking through the wall, got a 2 on the d4 so took 'em 20 minutes. Which was more than enough time for the hobgobbo priest to sacrifice a victim that was turned into a quasit.
In retrospect one thing I should've changed was to have the hobgoblin captain use Leadership once they were close to breaking through to give him an extra turn of action economy and for the priest to cast spirit guardians in the same fashion so he'd be able to waltz in a use spiritual weapon + sacred flame, but the current DM has thrown some overwhelming fights recently, so I'm fine with it having been a change of pace.
Also, I shall embark on a quest to try and make gingerbread cookies.
I read a recipe, saw I lacked molasses. Then I read a molasses recipe but realized it needed dark brown sugar not light brown sugar. Then I double-checked the brown sugar I have and realized I actually do have dark, not light, as my default. So hip hip hooray! Hoping they'll turn out nicely.
If not, I'll give them to a church group I go to. :P

You are out stargazing one night. Maybe in your backyard, maybe in a park, or maybe just looking through a window. It’s a full moon, and more stars are visible than yesterday’s sky. In fact, these stars seems to form some kind of constellation, one you’ve never seen, nor ever heard of. A wolf’s head, with the moon forming its one eye. The other seems to have no representation. This is more detailed than other constellations. This night is odd you think, before you see the moon blink and the moth of the wolf open. “Serve me child, and I shall give you the blessing of the sky. But be warned. Accepting will lead to the tameable curse. The curse of the Hunt.” Do you accept the Wolf Mother’s offer?

No, I’m not going across a hunt across the sky where if I leave, I drop dead

I really like D&D, especially Ravenloft, Exandria and the Upside Down from Stranger Things. My pronouns are she/they (genderfae).

Regrettably, I’m going to have to pass. If I were a D&D character like a ranger I would accept, but as myself I’m a little too cautious to get involved in something like that.
And if Himy’s right I’m definitely not going to accept.

The Curse of the Hunt is just lycanthropy you control.

Lycanthropy isn't really that good of a power. Like what kind of opps would I need to have to need to become a whole werewolf?

Can I keep my alignment and control my shapeshifting? If so, then it might be worth it, depending on what the Wolf Mother wants in return. Being a werewolf is a pretty cool power, even if it’s not that useful in the modern world.
