My character sheet shows the feature as follows: "Radiant SoulXGtE, pg. 55
You have resistance to radiant damage, and when you cast a spell that deals radiant or fire damage, you can add +4 to one radiant or fire damage roll of that spell against one of its targets."
However, this +4 is not showing by default on the damage roll portion. I went in and manually added 4 to "Damage Bonus" for the spells that I have with a note of "damage bonus from Radiant Soul", but wanted to mention that it's not automatically showing.
I tried searching the forum to see if anyone else mentioned this and didn't see anything.
I imagine it wouldn’t. It’s a static number and it could get real confusing if every aoe radiant and fire spell added 4 that you’d have to take back to work out what most of them take.
chances are they just assume we can add 4 and use the standard number for the groups

Why would it get confusing? Conditions: Have the Radiant Soul perk from your lvl 6 Celestial Warlock, spell does fire and/or radiant damage. Choose when rolling damage dice if you apply the +4 if more than one roll is done. Or am I making this a too simple thing?

You only get to add the 4 to one target. So if you cast something like fireball and catch 6 enemies. It’s easier to add 4 to one of them than to subtract 4 from 5 of them. At least, that’s my understanding of the thinking. So you just say, I did 25 damage, except that guy takes 29.
I don't have fireball, but this explanation makes sense. Since the +4 damage is only applied to one of the spell's targets, not to all of the spell's targets, it's not +4 damage to every target.

Seems logical yes, we roll for aoe once, so it wouldn't be a problem for aoe at our table. But yes, I can see if you roll separately for each target.

It’s not something DDB currently has the technical capability to do.

Even if you roll for AOE once for all targets, the additional 4 damage only goes to one target.
