You could use a heavy Xbox with repeating shot and flavor it as a sniper 

I’m curious as to why you would want to do this? Not knocking the idea or anything just genuinely curious.

Something funky is for sure going on. I went into my Artificer and tried to replicate the issue again and now it isn't showing the Heavy Crossbow for me as well.

I just tried with both battle smith, and artillerist with the weapon master feat and both allowed me to select it for the infusion

did you manually add the heavy crossbow to your inventory  first?

That would be cool, but it’s in now as an option if you turn on play test options

The concept of this class really intrigues me, any idea when it will be built in like the other subclasses?

player concept: As a child Zankas was very interested in how things work, and trying to make them better. This started as harmless alterations to existing gnomish technologies, but as he grew older his ideas became more intense. so playing around with a battlesmith just for the hell of it. Looking at the spell storing item feature and I wonder if you can put a concentration spell in it. For example grab a rock and put faerie fire on it. Would that work? And if so is it cast on the spot your standing/ or can I throw the rock into the fray and get more enemy combatants in it?

Subscription doesn’t include any books. It gives you more website features but all the books are independent of any sub.
